Alex has done a fantastic job on our recent roofing project. He was easy to deal with from start to finish, super professional and affordable (in comparison to other quotes we received). We were kept in the loop with any changes of plan and Alex went above and beyond to keep the project within budget. I can’t recommend his service enough, any project big or small, look no further!

I had a leak into my roof which other roofers had failed to locate and resolve. Alex spent a significant amount of time and effort trying to locate and research what the problem could be. He came back to the house to help at very short notice and was the only person who managed to fix the problem. Not only was it fixed, he did other work to prevent further issues at a very, very reasonable rate. I haven’t had any problems since. Alex and his team are also very kind and great at explaining what they’re doing and why. He has also provided advice to my parents which really helped them to work out what steps they should take with some repairs to their house. I would highly recommend.

Alex has done a few jobs for us to fix leaks on a flat roof and replace cracked roof tiles. He is quick to respond and provides accurate, detailed, quotes. All his work is carried out to a high standard at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend him.

Our roof started leaking just as we were about to leave for the airport which caused us a lot of panic. Bailey and Co roofing were quick to fit us in and came to diagnose the problem quickly. They were back within a couple of days to replace the lead flashing and we were thrilled with the result. They sent photo and video evidence of the work they had done and we are very satisfied with their work.

Dave and his team were absolutely fantastic. Great bunch of lads and a great sense of humour! I was anxious about a leak in my roof over Christmas and Dave responded quickly, sorted me out with a quote and got me booked in right away. I had a complete new roof, dorma cladding and window fitting. They have been very reliable, and did everything they could to get the job done even throughout a storm. Turning up on freezing days and worked in strong wind and snow. Dave even checked on my roof multiple times during the storm to make sure there were no issues. Which I was so thankful for. He originally gave me a quote for a full job and on what needed fixing/sorting, so transparent and honest from the start without pushing for work not needed doing. He updated me on changes with the time/date he’d be able to start work and cracked on with the job, with pictures sent after to show me what he had done. I contacted West Leeds Roofing from overseas to remove an aerial that was not secured properly. Bradley was out there in a couple of days and safely removed the old aerial. Communication was excellent throughout and he kept me informed of progress. Great job - thoroughly recommend them.

West Leeds Roofing did a great job repointing my chimney, rendering the roof edges, and redoing the lead flashing. They were quick, efficient, and got everything sorted without any fuss. The place was left clean afterwards too. I’d definitely recommend them if you need any roofing work done.

I had the entire roof replaced on my end terrace back-to-back and couldn't be happier with the professionalism and enthusiasm shown by Bradley and West Leeds Roofing. From the offset with the initial email exchange and drone survey, to communication throughout the large job and the quality of the work undertaken itself, I couldn't be happier. The scaffolding was erected only days before the work began and was removed days afterwards while others on my street have been stuck with it for upwards of a month. Bradley also offered advice on the likely replastering work I'll be requiring next. Great experience and highly recommended.

Best roofing company around! Simple. Lee and his team pride themselves on details and communication - in relative terms, something which I haven’t found other roofing “companies” to be very good at. The team are extremely knowledgeable, personal and responsive. Lee and the team inhereted a job which evolved quickly and were able to give assurance and act quickly. The communication was second to non and even came out at 10pm and Sundays just to provide assurance and help with small amount of water ingress during the “stripping” process. Something you wouldn’t get elsewhere! 10/10 - would recommend to anyone!

Scope Remove existing Rosemary tiled roof, old guttering, downpipes and associated detritus Insulate above ceilings with Rockwool / Kingspan Re-roof using salvaged Rosemary tiles, if not feasible use larger tiles Paint and repair bargeboards Point and flaunch chimney stacks Install new guttering and downpipes where required Check for other defects that come to light and propose remedial action Tidy up Budget £17,750 Timescale 3 to 4 weeks, weather dependent Issues On stripping the roof it was found that the Rosemary tiles were in too bad a condition to be reused, it was not possible to source reclaimed tiles in the quantity or within the timescale allowed. A decision was made to continue using a different tile, Calderdale Rustic which would create a similar roof to Rosemaries, which were available on a short lead time in the quantity required. A wire became disconnected from a pull switch during the installation of the insulation over the West Wing of the property. This was quickly put right by an electrician. A skip arrived late holding up operations for a morning. An end stop on a gutter had not been fitted, when pointed out it was rectified the following day. Chamfering of the white chimney by a 3rd party was not done to specification, rectified by BW. What went wrong? Apart from the issues above, nothing What went right? The BW core team (Neil, Bradley) and others were hard working and personable. Their timekeeping was good and they were there when they said they would be. They answered my questions regarding the work to be done / being done / what has been done. Communications were good, I was kept informed of the next steps and any particular delays / out of specification work required. The scaffolders were good and articulate, in my experience that is sometimes not the case. The project came in on budget, it was of a 5 week duration, the scaffold being up for 43 days. The end result is excellent. Highly recommended.

We have just had a complete re-roof of our house and consider ourselves lucky to have chosen Barwick roofing. I'm writing this review as a last resort, but since nobody is showing up it doesn't really matter how it will influence our 10 year relation (guarantee period). I will do my best to keep this short and honest. Let's see how I do. So we've picked the quote from M&S for a complete re-roof (inc gutters, fascias) with flat roof repair to stop it from dripping and soaking up the side wall. For the re-roof pretty straight-forward job, picked the tiles we like and it went quite smoothly. Flat roof was supposed to be done so it doesn't drip- any way they see fit. They have offered re-felting it, seemed reasonable, so that was agreed. Unfortunately, either by lack of experience or the quality of work, the roof is still dripping, in the same places, soaking up the wall. On top of that, the main roof gutter, where it joins with our n-bours gutter, has been leaking. And since it's at the joint, it makes a lovely waterfall onto my n-bours walls and windows. ALL the issues above have been fixed now. Below you can see all the updates and how long it took. In general the company is reliable, just a shame they are soooo busy, it's hard work to meet up with them. Ive attached a pic of before and after gutter correction. If google allows it I will keep this review in edit and up to date after each and every significant development of situation- both good and bad. If there's no progress I shall update every two weeks stating just that- no progress. UPDATE 1 28.02.22- Mr Simon has paid me a visit to discuss the repairs. Spaces between gutters will be filled to prevent leaking. Flat roof is a bit more of a complex problem, but shall be dealt with as well. As promised to keep it fair, one star up and I shall update on thursday 3.3.22. UPDATE 2 8.03.22- we are waiting for dry day. It was raining almost all previous week. Should be better in coming days. UPDATE 3 11.03.22 All issues have been tended to. It is a trustworthy company after all, just busy.

Used M&S roofing to remove and install a new GRP roof where the original one had been poorly installed by a previous tradesman and ended up failing after 3 years. They came when they said they would, completed the job in the timescale indicated, (despite the british summer weather, providing a challenge half way through) did a good job and issued warrenty and guarantee. Joe the supervisor and his colleagues were polite and professional. Happy to recommend them.
