Highly recommend this company. From first contact they were responsive and their representative who called to assess the job, Terry, came across as knowledgeable and honest - so much so that I cancelled the other companies I'd asked to quote and went with this one right away. They then kept good communication, turned up when they said they would, did the job they said they would do, and did it for the price quoted. Their guys on site were pleasant, diligent and tidy. Their office contact Ruth was a pleasure to communicate with. Even the scaffold company they used were friendly, tidy workers and easy to discuss things with. After having issues with previous builders, I can't tell you what a relief it was to work with a company that kept to schedule, kept to cost and did a great job. Very happy customers!

Wilson’s have performed a number of projects at our Grade One listed property in Calderdale. Firstly the repairs and replacements on a large and complex flagstone roof which dates back to the 15th century. The repairs were diligent, sympathetic and to a high quality and with excellent communication throughout. Inside the house, they have recently completed a turnkey bathroom renovation. Again, their work was to the very highest standards and with the property simultaneously being let for AirBnB it was done discretely and with little to no disturbance to our guests. I would highly recommend their work to anyone.

I called Michael Wilson and Son on Wednesday afternoon, after noticing my drainpipe and gutter had been damaged with the recent weather. I received a call from Zac within 30 mins to confirm the enquiry, and to let me know that someone from the company would be with me 8:30 Monday morning to give me a quote for the work. At 8:20 on Monday, Chris and Finley arrived, and by 9:15 had completed the work! Amazing! I couldnt beleive they had not only finished the work but the quality of it was brilliant. Bloody good - complete roof replacement with chimney repointing and new ridge tiles. Quoted a good price and told us when the job would be done and how long it would take with allowance of course for high winds. Full scaffolding erected and job done as stated and to the quoted cost. I have not given the price because all jobs are different but I thought it was very good. Would use them again but of course it will not be necessary. As a bonus they are nice friendly people. I just took a chance in choosing them but everyone gets lucky sometime.

Rang Dennis for a quote to repair a dormer roof. The leak turned out to be more extensive than first thought. Dennis and his team were thoroughly professional, clean and courteous and kept us well informed throughout the job, including working in minus temperatures. Completed a fantastic job for us and would not hesitate in using them again, or recommending them to other people.

Absolutely fantastic, I called Simpson Denis Roofing Services on a Monday because I had a leak in my roof, he eased my nerves and told me somebody would be with me in a couple of days, on Thursday and gave a time of 09:00. As we had heavy rain, water actually started to appear on my ceiling, I called Denis first thing the next morning (Tuesday) and I was absolutely frantic with panic. He got one of his lads out that same morning to come have a look, and then within the next hour they were here with Ladders, sorted the hole in my roof. Couldn't ask for a better experience, good honest workmenship, would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic roofers. Polite, explains things so that you understand, and cleans up after themselves. We had a full reroof, then about 2 years later discovered a small leak after being battered with stormy weather. Contacted Simpson Dennis Roofing as we still had guarantee on the works, and they reassured us over the phone, came to check it, and fixed it as soon as they could. It didn't cost us any extra as they honoured the guarantee. They are trustworthy and reliable unlike many others today. Highly recommended!

Had problems with my roof around the chimney stack which needed re cementing Previously I had asked several firms to quote non turned up apart from one which quoted a very high price.i contacted HD roofing and Lee come out and gave me a competitive price and carried the work 2 days later as promised.He took photos of the work that was required beforehand and photos of work carried out afterwards. I had a leak coming in from somewhere on the roof of my new house which caused a lot of damage to my spare bedroom. Luckily Paul managed to find and repair it within a few days before it got any worse, it’s been 3 months since the repair and no leak in sight. Paul was professional and extremely well priced. After confusion over the phone which was my mistake. Quote appointment with made and they arrived on time. Excellent quotation given, date was made for the work to be done but was hampered due to the 3 storms 1 after the other. 1st good weather day they arrived did an excellent job cleared up after themselves. The two roofers who repaired our roof were highly professional and extremely friendly, clearly explaining the root cause in simple terms. They went above and beyond, not only fixing the problem but also helping to clean areas of our Velux windows that we couldn’t reach without being on the roof (a task completely unrelated to the job). I am very happy with the work performed and reassured by the 10-year guarantee, giving peace of mind in case any future issues arise.

Having struggled to find a decent roofer for a while I came across BM Home Improvements who are excellent at what they do, slightly pricey but you get what you pay for in terms of skill within the trade etc. "Pay peanuts, get monkeys" the old saying. We had a leaking flat roof on a large garage. Billy came round and recommended a rubber sheet replacement and showing me samples of the material. The job was carried out quickly and with care and cleaning up completely after themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I have discovered that at least two neighbours have had garage roofs replaced by Billy. One was over 15 years ago and they were very happy with the roofs and Billy's work.

An excellent job by Carr Roofing. Access to my over-dwelling (4 stories high at the back) cottage is not the easiest. It is up a very steep narrow street where parking is almost impossible. As such most roofers would not even consider the job of erecting scaffolding and repairing my roof; replacing sections of broken tiles. Carr Roofing did this without issue, doing a neat and professional job. The cost of this was reasonable too. If you need a roofer, do not hesitate to contact these guys. Highly recommended and five stars.

Our roof was leaking so I called upon Paul having found him at the top of checkatrade. He was round the following day to diagnose the issue and within 4 days had mended it. Very kind gentleman, honest and friendly. I felt in good hands straight away. His workmanship was spot on, coming to the house when he was available to fix the problem with no bother. Great price too; I was worried it would cost an arm and a leg but his price was very competitive with others.

Had Eagle roofing out last week to fix our leaking valley. Mathew and his team were fantastic throughout. A week on and after all the snow and rain we have had I am confident the leak is now fixed. I would recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy roofer.

I had a leak around the chimney in October last year. I rang eagle roofing and Mathew called round the day after. He gave me a quote and completed the work the following week. 4 months later the leak still hasn’t reappeared and Mathew has called twice since to see how the chimney was. Great customer service I would definitely recommend.
