I have used McDonald Roofing Contractors for three separate roofing jobs on a rather complicated roof - firstly replacing a box gutter and associated drainage, secondly replacing some lead work, and finally replacing half of the roof following my realisation that a previous roofer had only done half of the work paid for. A really good experience from start to finish. We had our flat roof replaced along with other repairs needed. George came to fix our flat roof last month and did an excellent job. We haven’t had any leaks since. He used a drone to show us the roof’s condition before and after the work, providing us with pictures and videos for reference. His workmen were very nice people. George was really easy to deal with and they slotted my flat roof job in very quickly. Used Scott’s roofing after asking for a few quotes to get new flat roof, repair faulty valley, add lead flashings on all parapet walls among other things. Other roofing companies never really committed to a start date - efficiency and reliability are an absolute must when you have issues with your roof and Scott really delivers on both fronts. Scott was very responsive to messages and came next day at the time he said he would to fix gutter end stop that had come off. Scott and his colleague took extra care to use ladder end protectors so not to damage house render when leaning the ladder against it. He also glued the end stop in place for extra security. First used Obsidian Roofing in October 2024 for our son’s new roof which they did excellently. So there was no need to consider another company to do our house roof repairs. He quoted fairly for what was supposed to be a minor repair but unfortunately when he started taking off the tiles he found the felt was all rotten and the wood batons were rotten too. We ended up having new membrane and batons for the whole roof. As we live in a conservation area we cannot replace the tiles without planning permission. So Naher managed to find reclamation tiles from a place in Scotland and we live in London but it was no trouble for him to sort it all out. We had been looking for spare tiles for years and no roofer could find any before. He and his team had a massive job on their hands but he organised it perfectly and did the job in 10 days. They worked so hard even using torches as it got dark early so that no rain would come in overnight. And to top it all they jet washed the drive and patio at no extra cost. I am very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him.

Replacing a roof was made painless by the London Roofing Specialist team. I had been dreading it and met with a number of companies before finally going ahead with LRS. The process was seamless from the erection of the scaffolding, removal and replacement of the flat roof, the installation of a Velux skylight, coping stones on the parapet walls and a new deep flow guttering system. All was done well within the 10 day period, they were professional, punctual starting at 8am each day, hard working, well mannered which came as a surprise 😂 and they left the site clean. Last but not least there were no hidden extras when I received their final invoice .. to be highly recommended 🤩
