I came here and had the best curry ever! I now travel nearly 5 miles just for the curry!
Fresh cooking at its finest. The owners are super friendly, and the pub vibe is lovely.
Met up with friends as we were nearby. Service was excellent with a very friendly and knowledgeable lady serving us. Persuaded to try vegetable samosas/lamb as a starter - delicious.
Followed by curry, which was equally delicious.
The sausage and mash/chicken burger and chips was equally tasty and generous, as was the sticky toffee pud.
Very happy to recommend this place, which we also discovered that some of the building dates from the 1200s.
Fyi the car park is on the other side of the road, opposite the Harrow Inn, which fooled our group on arrival.
Really nice pub in Charlton Village. The food is fantastic. The comments about some of the best curry being found here, aren’t wrong. These are fantastic. The lunch menu is excellent I recommend the chicken Tikka wrap, absolutely delicious. Such a shame they don’t add this to the dinner menu as well of the lunch menu. Pub is missing a trick here in my opinion. Lovely pub, nice beer garden and beautiful surroundings and cold beer. What more could you want. 👍
