Such a lovely ambience to this place. The setting is beautiful. The staff are attentive and friendly and the food exquisite!
Fabulous Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday with family. Great cocktails, beautifully cooked sea bream and delicious chocolate torte. Family had very generous roast dinners. Highly recommended.
We called in mid afternoon and although it was fairly quiet we had a great experience. The bar is dog friendly which was perfect after our walk at Carsington reservoir. Food was very good and they had my favourite beverage on tap. Plenty of tables outside too with pods if it’s a little cooler.
We tried our luck for a a late Sunday afternoon roast without a booking, and were accommodated straight away. Friendly service and really delicious food! Beautiful gardens and outdoor area too.
Portions were well sized with reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and the environment really cosy. I definitely recommend it.
