Warm, friendly welcome from staff and wholesome, tasty food. Even the dog was catered for

We used this venue as a campervan stopover. Which was mostly OK. When we arrived to pitch up the parking area was pretty well at capacity due to a Bowls match, tis cleared after about 2 hours or so and we were able to pitch up. As this was free we decided to meet with my sister and partner and my son. The 5 of us had a pleasant meal in the pub which we enjoyed. I would suggest that the proprietors consider putting an outside drinking water tap and marked bins for waste recycling. I have no doubt that we shall be visiting again.

Great pub, Great food, Great atmosphere! The Sunday Dinner was delicious! Staff are really friendly and welcoming!

Massive thanks to all the girls, staff, and Jerry the chef! At the spring gardens Had a last minute arranged 50th birthday meal, and from the start was looked after superbly nothing was too much trouble for the kind friendly staff. Great choice of drinks at good prices, and the food and choice of meals was the very best we have had for a long time! Jerry pulled out all the stops to give 100% great food.,beautifully presented. So glad we went and will be definitely going there again! Thanks again! Ps also very dog friendly place too!

Popped in for an hour today..Sunday 9 Feb...very good selection of beers... excellent friendly staff...menu looked good ...Cheers..
