Gorgeous cafe! We enjoyed a delicious homemade soup, festive panini and a pot of tea for two. All of which were fantastic, a great chat with the owner too - we’ll definitely be back 😁
Wonderful find. Jo and her team made this small but perfectly lovely cafe a really special visit. Everything was delicious, the toasties were somehow so much better than the usual cafe fare, I think it was the high quality bread and ingredients. The puddings and custard were also excellent, we had the Bakewell pudding and the rhubarb and apple tart, both with (just howI like it, not too runny) custard. Excellent. Finally thanks Jo, you couldn't have made us feel more welcome! Best cafe I've been to for a long time, you can see why it won best Derbyshire cafe this year!
Such a great cafe, I can’t believe I have not been there before. Service - perfect , quick and friendly. I had a rhubarb and apple tart that I am still thinking about 4 days later, it was so delicious! Can’t wait to visit again very soon.
Lovely little cafe in Bakewell. Me and my boyfriend had been on a camping trip and fancied some warmth n nice scran. Top tier. Lovely welcoming staff. Decent prices too. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and service and dog friendly! We found a lot of the cafes in Bakewell were not dog friendly. Even though this cafe is small they welcome dogs and even offer them a blanket to lay on. The food is home made and good value too.
