Always have a good experience here! Great food! Although with kids, check timings of food and where you can eat what part of the menu in the pub, as we wanted to eat in the bar and they’ve changed the rules to only eating the main menu in the restaurant and they didn’t have any space! So we had to leave! Apart from that the selection of food and drinks is good! Great bar snacks too!
Popped in for lunch on a bank holiday Monday. It was busy but they managed to fit us in. Excellent service, excellent food and a very nice rhubarb cider. Would love to visit again.
Nice little place for a drink. The service was good, we didn't try the food but the atmosphere was just right. The location was ideal if you were going to the local race circuit as it was just down the road. Overall, it was a good ole British pub with a good selection of drinks.
We had a excellent meal, this place truly defines the difference between being a good cook and a good chef. I had the lamb with hasselback potatoes, being a decent cook I was quite proud of my hasselbacks, however the chef blew my mind and taste buds with their version, so creamy and such a well balanced plate of flavours, the presentation was Michelin level and the service was also to a high standard. I will be visiting again as there were many items on the menu that I would chose.
