Hispania is a wonderful hidden gem in Ashby de la Zouch - fantastic Spanish food, lovely staff and brilliant service! As a coeliac I love eating here as I feel well looked after, with the majority (if not all) of the menu being gluten free. Dishes change regularly and the specials are always just that - special! I’m sure we will continue to come to this excellent restaurant for many years to come!

Felt like we were back in Spain. Such authentic cuisine. Brilliant atmosphere, great wine selection🍷🍷we splashed out on a posh bottle as the food is so reasonable

We ate early evening at this lovely rustic Spanish restaurant. We were greeted warmly and seated straight away. The food was outstanding. Mouth watering and plentiful. The Octopus was perfectly cooked as was the beefcheeks. We had a bottle of white Rioja and that was great too. Each course was served perfectly. I can't praise this little gem of a restaurant enough. I will be back to try the lamb next because it looked amazing.

We came here for the 1st time and it's an absolutely lovely little restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Fine dining food without the fine dining price tag! We had lunch from the set menu, 2 courses, olives and bread. I have to say the quality of the ingredients was exceptional and everything was cooked to perfection, homely and heavenly but with a fantastic presentation. Service was fantastic also, if you are looking for an authentic Spanish restaurant then Hispania is the place to be.
