Great location and very accommodating staff. All were brilliant with our 5yr old. Breakfast is great and an excellent array of beverages both alcoholic and non at the bar. We didn't eat at the restaurant but upon returning it was packed out, so this speaks for itself. Just a short drive to Alton Towers, so it was perfect for our stay. We will definitely look to book here again when we return
Lovely big clean room. Very friendly staff. Food good too. Location OK but couldn't find walks from pub as hoped so had to drive to different location. Would return though.
Just had a lovely 4 night Christmas break at The Boar's Head Hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable and so friendly at this special family run pub/hotel. Tasty home cooked food and plenty of it. Rooms serviced every day, even Christmas Day. All the staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. I've been for a pub lunch several times throughout the year and never been disappointed. Highly recommend it!
We booked here for the ease of location for the Uttoxeter race day. It has a very family-friendly atmosphere, with excellent customer service. The restaurant's food and pricing were of good value and excellently cooked. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming.
