Sunday roast first visit, 2 weeks ago, was excellent. Second visit was not so good. Food tasty but less than last time, needed to be hotter, which we did mention to the waiter. Looked like it had been plated up in a hurry. Price has gone up from £16.50 to £18.50 to £21.50. Busy day so we'll put it down to that. Hopefully better next time.
Lovely staff, beutiful bar and resturant area. Food - the dhal was AMAZING! Would definitely recommend this place, even just to poke your nose in!
Great place to meet friends, great entertainment and food. Staff really friendly although bar service can be a little slow. New installation of TV for sports is a great addition. What is really good is they think about customers, do some great offers and put effort into specials days and events. Really look after the locals as well as occasional visitors
Went with some friends for drinks. (Happy hour drinks wine and beer 4pm to 6pm weekdays) and streetfood on the starter menu. Mixed grill (indian style - chicken tikka, sheesh kebab, a nicely seasoned and tasty pork chop and something else 🤔 but all very good and very tasty) £20 for 2 people to share but they let us have 3 to share for £30 and the other person had poppadems & pickles for £4 which was enough for 2 to share.
A beautiful area, good rooms and great breakfast We didn't eat in restaurant, but it smelt good and was always busy. Walking distantance to 2 other old fashioned beer pubs that were wonderful.
