went here on the Sunday menu, pretty much everything was home made and tasted amazing. puddings were very good too. beer, cider and soft drinks were great aswell. nice country pub feel, great location and very good prices. very warm welcome, and very nicely kept pub. Will definitely be back for more and to try the other menu. dog friendly too

Stayed here overnight in the campervan area. Really welcoming. All the staff and locals were chatty, was nice as was on my own (with the dog). Very dog friendly. Food was really great. All home made. Will definitely be returning. May even take the husband. Lots of walks from the pub too.

We came across this pub late lunchtime in mid October. We were made extremely welcome by both the other customers and the bar staff - who was extremely knowledgeable about all her real ales. There was so much atmosphere to be soaked up. The food was good and the drinks served were in excellent shape, nothing was a bother to them. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who hopes to be given a very warm welcome.

Not much to say other than, A brilliant little pub!. Wes was super welcoming and the food was on another level! They let us order half hour early as the chefs was already in which was nice as we was happy to wait till the kitchen opened. The atmosphere was top notch, the pub & facilities are exceptionally clean and well looked after. We camped here for £7 pp (kids are free) which is cheap in my opinion (showers are £1 coin run if you want one) and the views around the pub/field are so pretty. Enough space for easy 20+ campers/vans/ motor homes with a nice gap between them. The food and drink here is excellent value for money along with the camping. We will definitely be back in the future. Keep up the great work Wes and the team 👏

We ate here after a walk in the area, nice local pub, great home cooked food. Service and atmosphere couldn't be faulted - would recommend a visit! Also has a cafe behind for breakfast which we went to the day after - just as good!
