Popped in as a couple for lunch, had an excellent croque Monsieur whilst my wife had a steak. Food was really tasty and the setting felt authentically French. Would really recommend for anyone after a classy Bistro in the Derbyshire area. Good for gluten free as well.
This little restaurant provided us with a very nice Croque Monsieur and tasty soup. It was our first visit and we would happily return. Large windows enable customers to watch life go by in this busy little arts and crafts town. Polite and friendly staff.
In the 16 years I’ve been visiting Wirksworth, I’ve always wanted to visit here and now I finally had a chance. I was not disappointed. There is a reason for its longevity: cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious, reasonably-priced food. I’ll definitely be eating there again.
Fantastic light lunch on Sunday. The Mistral Club baguette was delicious. Chicken, bacon, tomato, cucumber and lettuce with a light garlic mayonnaise washed down with elderflower presse. We didn't book but we're warmly welcomed and seated at a table downstairs. Service was a little slow but the food was worth waiting for! Highly recommend 👏
