Went to The Nines and it didn’t disappoint, we ordered starters mains and dessert and wow cannot complain about a single thing! Very impressive food full of flavour my favourite was the chicken Parmesan! The decor is just delightful very elegant and the customer service especially was top notch, staff were very attentive and friendly can’t recommend enough. The owners are lovely people who went out their way to make our experience that more special Can’t wait to revisit and try more things from the menu Special mention for ‘The Mug’ dessert absolutely scrumptious never had anything like it

I often eat at The nines and love the cuisine. Something for everyone, good variety, good veg options too. From breakfast to desserts to lunch and dinners great choice. Good fusion between Asian and English. The quaint Mocktails are so unique. Wide range of cuisine. Never tire of visiting. Great restaurant. Highly recommend. I visited again with my children. The Indian breakfast is just amazing. Delicious, well presented and fairly priced.

I've been looking forward to trying The Nines restaurant for awhile now, and was so glad that I did! The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too! The welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The overall ambiance was excellent, and the cuisine more than met my expectations. Will definitely be going back!

We went here for our work Christmas meal and we were blown away with firstly the quality of the food and the customer service! Every effort was made to make our experience special, the food from the Christmas set menu came beautifully presented and the interactive mocktails were really fun! We were looking at food being served to other tables and it all looked amazing, we would definitely like to come back and try the standard menu and breakfast. We never felt rushed and also wasn’t waiting long between courses, can’t recommend enough!

Absolutely love it at Bustler Market... Especially with the recent '6 weeks of Summer' where I managed to attend the last 3 weeks, any excuse to celebrate and enjoy my 40th 😅🤣. Such an incredible variety of street food, great staff on the bar/floor, decent beer, I tried the Jubel Grapefruit beer for the first time today. It has great vibes and has plenty to keep the kids happy too.

The venue is impressively large with vast amounts of indoor seating and outdoor seating that's both covered and uncovered. Changing but always excellent choice of small, independent food stalls selling street food from all corners of the world; however, I believe Cartel is permanent... which is great because their food is excellent. Drinks are decent, although it could be so much more if they worked with certain other businesses. It can get very busy and really warm but it's a great atmosphere, If you don't like crowds I'd go earlier in the day, it's also dog and child friendly. Worth following on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc as they have a lot of events throughout the year, Derby Beer Con being the standout event in my opinion.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, seeing as it was our first time having food at the Exeter Arms. My friend had booked a table for the two of us for 8 o'clock on Saturday evening. It's always a bit of a gamble one takes, when trying out somewhere new, and I never like to judge a place, purely by the reviews of others. But my word... This place was fantastic! Although it may appear unassuming from the outside, you step into such a cosy and delightful space. It was quite busy, of course being a Saturday night, but we were seated pretty quickly by one of the very pleasant ladies behind the bar. They have a pretty big selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from, as well as a diverse food menu (whether you're just after a snack or something much, more filling!) My friend decided on the Derby rib burger and I had the farmer and fisherman and were informed that there'd be around a 45 minute wait, which we were more than fine with. Well, the wait was worth it indeed! They certainly don't scrimp on the portion sizes here, you get a lot for your money. Everything just seemed to work well on the plate, from the combination of the garlic butter roasted king prawns and sirloin steak (cooked perfectly), which lay on a generous portion of chicken salted fries. The beef croquette was superb and, even though the name may sound off-putting, the bone-marrow mayonnaise was delicious! The flavours came together wonderfully and the tastes were exquisite. Yes, it was £25.95 but honestly? It was well worth it, because I was full after that with a smile on my face. The only thing my friend mentioned, was that his burger was a little dry. But he still enjoyed it and he himself, was very full afterwards too! It was a shame we didn't have any room left for dessert, as they sound superb! We'll definitely have to try them out next time around! The staff were really friendly, the food was great and the general atmosphere was wonderful, I would recommend coming here (cannot wait to return myself in the future!)

Visited Exeter Arms before going to the football match. It is a traditional pub with really great food. The service was quick, especially as it was match day. The staff was really nice and friendly.

Managed to get the last table available here on a Friday evening, worth booking in advance. Great menu with good vegetarian options and loads of ales. Really friendly staff that told you the wait time on food at the onset. Food was very good and reasonably priced, really great atmosphere also. Its only a short walk from the town centre and certainly worth a visit.

I’m so happy that I can have a tasty vegan 🌱 burger in a good old pub with my beer when I’m in Derby. This time I doubled the patty but it’s almost too much food then. Only do it when you are real hungry. 🤤 The atmosphere there is just amazing and I feel right at home every time I’m there.

Absolutely fantastic new venue and so happy for these guys, that they've found a new great home! The ever changing line up of traders keeps it nice and fresh and the Street Food coming from these traders, is just jaw dropping! Definitely recommend you go give it a visit! Fun for all the family

From just looking at the menu the food seems really basic and overpriced and I do find it difficult to justify spending £9.95 on lunch (with the small portion option) but while the ingredients are simple the portion you get for small is filling and as they say the ingredients truly are fresh and delicious. My favourites were the daal and hot potatoes. The main protein I had, chicken breast, seemed bland at first glance but actually tasted very good. Unfortunately I forgot to take additional pictures below the top layer. I think I'd only get this for lunch on special occasions but I think I would get the better value medium for dinner more often, I can't imagine finishing a medium bowl in one sitting.

Fantastic value, great tasting lunch Greek themed buffet that is cooked fresh daily with a range of protein options including roast chicken thigh, chicken breast, grilled halloumi, falafel with a wide variety of prepared salads, teriyaki noodles, fresh potato wedges etc. Ample parking outside with clean and well lit interior, outdoor seating options, too. I look forward to returning again soon.

Finally - somewhere actually healthy and actually tasty! The portions are great btw, and that’s coming from someone who very rarely leaves restaurants full, I eat alot! I had the large bowl (of course) and for £13 it’s a really good price. Loads of protein and loads of room for whatever your heart desires. The service was nice enough, though a little blunt, and the place was empty, but I’m not complaining - more for me haha! The daal was excellent, same with the hummus but the chicken was somehow so juicy! It really was very good and considering it all is ACTUALLY healthy, not just the usual stuff labelled that way, all home cooked and all self-served, it’s difficult to not like it. The self-serve bowls do finish at 3pm which I didn’t realise, so heads up if you’re planning to stop by, though they do offer pre-made bowls too. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised, usually let down by these kinds of places, but I would recommend this to any health conscious foodie! I will probably be back if I’m ever passing again, thanks so much!

Great place! The food tastes good and the staff very nice and welcoming. The lady took the time to explain to us the concept to order our food. The ingredients are very fresh and super tasty. Highly recommend!

Great welcome with real ales and a traditional warm and clean atmosphere. The food was piping hot and nicely served. A short walk from the modernised train station. What’s not to like?

Great traditional watering hole . Great selection of beers a real old fashioned pub should be on the go to list of any serious ale connoisseur. Good atmosphere . Sadly didn't try the food but plenty coming into the pub to eat .

Xmas work Dinner 🎄 Had the pleasure of dining here with my team over the Christmas period, a great choice made by one of our staff. The atmosphere was very inviting and staff to greet us upon entry. Wonderfully decorated in every corner of the restaurant ✨️ Music for ambiance but not too loud so as not needing to shout at one another on the long table, even tho we did play musical chairs to gain a proper conversation with one another. The staff were very prompt with the service from start to finish. Having a curry is my biggest preference when it comes to food, with it being my first experience here it is nice to have another establishment to compare to. Well...there was no disappointment, the food was above board! 👌🏽 The quality and quantity of the food was worth the price paid for. The lamb was oh so tender and melted in your mouth with each bite, it was lucky that the bowl was very deceiving as there was so much of it to enjoy it was neverending. And even once the bowl was FINALLY finished I almost felt greedy for the thought of being able to eat it all over again despite the fullness 😅 We all left agreeing that it was some of the finest foods we've eaten, even for those who don't often opt for Indian Cuisine. Thank You!! I've already arranged another visit...am so ready 🙌🏼

Valentine’s Day set menu: Absolutely stunning evening with some incredible food. I was blown away by the quality and thought process behind this menu. Staff were amazing and so attentive. It was extremely well organised, which made the evening all the better. The only feedback I would like to leave for the restaurant was you were incredibly generous on the food portioning. Even my partner (who eats a heck of a lot of food) struggled by the end. Not a complaint by any means just wanted to give genuine feedback. It was definitely value for money! For the team that came up with the menu and created the evening, the chefs that cooked the food and the team that delivered the vision to the customer, thank you and a honest well done.

Fabulous. They got us a table for 12 at short notice which was a great start. Quickly in and seated. Served by Gemna who was great throughout the evening, really efficient and always smiley, the kind of staff suited to the hospitality sector. Food was top drawer, a different kind of curry but so good. We had a variety of starters and mains, my own Boatmans Jhinga curry was one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend it and will be back again. Thanks for a great evening.

Went for bottomless brunch today 03/12 /2024 for an early birthday treat and couldn’t have been more impressed! Best place for bottomless brunch by far, can choose from any of the cocktails rather than a few that no one actually likes😂 and can upgrade to any main meal for only an extra £5 which is such good value. Kelsey was an absolute delight, she was so lovely to us and so quick with drinks orders, definitely get good value for money here. She is a credit to the company.

This was a brilliant bar for drinking, with bright colours bringing out the Caribbean vibes! Decorations are related to the Jamaican drinks and lights are pleasant too, counter is well-presented itself. We enjoyed the 2 for 1 cocktails per usual, sitting comfortably at a clean table!

Visited for bottomless brunch with my friend on Wednesday afternoon and it was amazing! 2 hours of unlimited cocktails, not just selected ones either, all cocktails on the menu are included! Our server Joe was friendly and attentive, and made sure the drinks kept coming. I have absolutely nothing bad to say, it was a lovely experience and well worth the price. I will definitely be back!

First time I've been to Darleys. Very impressed. Beautiful location on the River Derwent. We had a wonderful Sunday roast dinner. With some glorious glasses of wine. The meal was exceptional. Well worth the price. We would have liked to have had a sweet, but the meal was a large plate full. No room for pudding. All the staff were all very pleasant. Can't wait to try this restaurant again. 😋

The 7 course taster here was phenomenal. Not sure how frequently they change the menus but what we had in November 2024 last night was just incredible. Decent amount of food when all added up and left very satisfied. They tended to our birthday request to have a table by the window and left a birthday card from the team. What an experience! Highly recommended and reasonable prices.

Went for our engagement meal, food was beyond fantastic, presentation exceptional and staff were incredible. Perfect timings between meals and I would recommend trying this whilst the Christmas menu is on! Chloe our waitress was one of the most bubbly pleasant people I’ve ever come across and was fantastic for any questions we may have had. Restaurant and staff gave us a night we certainly will never forget
