I booked a table for Sunday for 2pm and for 4 of us. I didn't realise that it was only just carvery that was served on a Sunday because I'd never been before. My husband had a large and myself and my kids had a small carvery. The food was really nice the meat was very nice and not dry, they had a great selection of veg with mash and lovely new potatoes which I loved because I don't like mash potatoes. My daughter doesn't really like a roast dinner, but she still managed to eat a bit of it. We all had a pudding which was very nice my only criticism would be is I was expecting a bit more custard with the puddings and my treacle sponge and custard was lukewarm but apart from that we all enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend and go again. It was not badly priced it came to about £70 that was for 1 large and 3 small carvery, 4 puddings, 2 large coke, a bottle of water, a pint of beer and 4 bottles of J2O's. The staff was very polite and welcoming. They even had a chat with us. Thanks for a great meal

Absolutely amazing Sunday Carvery... All home cooked to perfection. Meat is slow cooked for 16 hours, all the veg is hand prepped. We couldn't have asked for better. Exceptional service by all members of the team. Really friendly local vibe. Thank you for a wonderful lunch, we will certainly be visiting again!

Me and visual impaired gentleman visited the robin hood for a carvery and to watch the entertainment. The staff were lovely and couldn't of been anymore helpful with helping me assist the gentleman I was with. All the locals in the pub were very chatty and welcoming. The Sunday carvery was all fresh and homemade absolutely lovely! The entertainment was outside and very brilliant!

Only been in for snacks and drinks. Quiet pub, clean and polite staff.
