There were four of us for Sunday Roast. We had a lovely time. Good service, nice food, served by pleasant and helpful young staff. The meals are plated - it is not a'carvery' type of place. We felt the turkey had the edge on the beef. There was a generous serving of vegatables and we all thought it was good food and excellent value. We all finished with their excellent fruit crumble. The Malt is definitely worth a visit and we recommend it.
What a hidden gem of a pub. We've been meaning to visit for some time based on excellent reviews of the food however we only popped in for a drink as the restaurant was fully booked indicating how popular this place is! We managed to get the leather sofas by the open fire which was absolutely delightful and cozy. Really good drinks selection including real ale. With some proper planning we'll return to try out the food. Lovely staff, very friendly and efficient. We'll be back!
Amazing food, different menu to other pubs and service is spot on.
Delightful friendly staff and atmosphere. We were made welcome with our Golden Retrievers Nicky & Billy. Good ale and honest food, good selection on the specials board. Recommended for a good night.
