Steak and ale pie last night with a group of friends. Food divine. Can't stop thinking about it. Really friendly, accommodating place. Honestly the food was spectacular and service great too
We stayed not far from the crown so was able to walk to it, drinks very well kept, service (especially Chloe) was fantastic, the pub itself is warm, welcoming and everyone makes you feel welcome evan the local residents. Unfortunately the food was very hit and miss. The first meal wasn't good at all but we gave it another try and it was okay. The outside fire was amazing. We will definitely visit again.
My first visit to the crown.. visited early afternoon(Wednesday) & must say staff very welcoming & friendly. I ordered a soup of the day as a starter, texture & taste was absolutely 1st class, As a Main i ordered Roston beef burger accompanied with chips & salads beautiful tasty succulent burger i have nothing but praise for the service & Food quality brilliant.. would highly recommend.
Lovely pub. We had a really nice lunch here. Good value for money with lovely ingredients. Just a word of warning though. No disabled parking and a slope to walk up and get into the pub. Lots of small steps. The girl who served us was lovely. All together a good experience
