Rowena has tutored my daughter for 13 months and she successfully passed her 11+ and taken her ISEB exams. Rowena was very good at identifying areas of improvement and bought along additional materials like practise papers every week. She also provides homework so that a structure can be maintained throughout the week. My daughter really looked forward to her lessons. Would highly recommend Rowena.

I am very grateful to Rowena who has recently tutored my Son through his 11+ exam. Rowena takes the time to understand the individual child and puts their needs first. She knows how to motivate children and is skilled in her teaching methods. My 7 year old daughter is very much looking forward to having Rowena as her tutor when the time comes.

Rowena has helped our son during Year 6 in the run up to the SAT tests. She has provided some great 1 to 1 tuition in an environment that allowed him to focus on specific areas where he was struggling. His confidence has grown along with his knowledge and I would certainly recommend her services to anyone looking for some extra help with their children's mathematics.

I have a child diagnosed with ADHD. Richard was accommodating, a pleasure to deal with, friendly and professional and my kid bounced into every lesson with a positive attitude. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Richard enough. I’d give him 10 stars if I could. Oh and he got my kid to pass the Kent test with flying colours. Will definitely return to try to get my younger kid to also be tutored by him in the coming years.

Mr C was an excellent tutor. He was very welcoming and my daughter enjoyed all her lessons with him. He made lessons fun for her - we still play some of the games he taught her - and he was very good at explaining topics that she found difficult. She retained all the information he gave her. He was happy to tailor classes according to her needs. He was also very generous in terms of his time and with work materials as well. I highly recommend him.

My experience at Tutor World has been exceptional. The teachers are genuinely invested in my children’s education and his growth as learner. I have used Tutorworld for all of my three children when preparing them for the Kent test. Ruvini and the teachers who work alongside side her provide lots of support, techniques and encouragement. The mock tests were invaluable in preparing my children for the test environment and the speed that you needed to answer the questions. All three of my children passed with flying colours. Excellent mock test experience with Tutor World. We prepared for the Kent test at home and took two mock tests (both during few months before the real exams). These mock tests have greatly helped to solidify confidence and gave a motivational boost. It also helped my daughter to practice controlling her nerves on the real test day and experience exam-like environment. She was able to achieve excellent score in the Kent test. Highly recommend Tutor World.

We used GTA for 11+ tuition. Assam was great. My daughter was a BIG fan of his teaching methods - not so much of the homework he set though! HA! She loved the lessons and found them very helpful. What I liked about most about these guys is the honest assessment of your child's abilities. On my first meeting with Shahnaz, she was very open in telling me that if she didn't think my child was capable of doing the 11+, she would tell me straight and that it would be unfair to put pressure on a child if it is clear they are not up to it. I really liked that. There was never any pressure to book lessons either. I was also very grateful for all the tips and advice Shahnaz gave me - as the parent, supporting my child's learning - which I found invaluable, especially moving forward as "it doesn't stop here" Shahnaz quite rightly said. So all-in-all, great service, I would highly recommend them.

Serena’s approach to learning is brilliant. My son doesn’t feel pressured about learning; he loves her approach and looks forward to attending the Tuesday lesson after school each week. We never have to ask him to do his homework, and he will get upset if the weekend is so busy and packed and he doesn't get the time to do his homework from Serena’s session. He would wake up early, unprompted by us, saying I must do my homework, not from fear or anything but from a place of joy in learning and a sense of completing his homework. I’m thankful to Serena that her approach eliminates any fear of learning. She makes it fun and challenging, so my son feels like he has achieved something when he understands something he didn't initially or previously understand. As parents, we get an update on our son’s performance and progress each week. What he did well, he needs to focus on and even say if he needs 1:1 support with any particular area of the learning. I wish her approach to education was how schools delivered their learning instead of how they do that. Her focus is on each child as an individual and their stage of learning. So, the teaching is tailored to the individual child's ability rather than the approach at school, which doesn’t challenge each child and where they are in their learning stage. Schools teach to the common denominator, while Serena teaches to the individual child’s level and ability. I would HIGHLY recommend Serena’s tuition approach.

Rosie is an excellent teacher. She was very patient, gave the kids time to learn & understand things. Rosie did not only teach but she also encouraged the kids to do their best with her motivational speeches.
