Adolf is truly an amazing maths tutor. His cool, calm and gentle manner has really helped my sons mathematical competence. He explains each topic clearly until it is fully understood and then retests them at a later date, making sure the information has definitely sunk in. This is backed up with homework and revision . My son has now reached the grades he wishes to achieve and is full of confidence with a subject he once found difficult. I would highly recommend Adolf to anyone who wishes their child to succeed at maths

My son came to Adolf having to resit his Maths GCSE in order to progress to the next stage in his learning journey. Cate is an excellent teacher for adults: patient, unpatronising, lively and witty. I have been having Spanish lessons with her for a few months and have made remarkable progress considering I started from scratch. The material she provides and way we are progressing is just right for an adult learner who comes at the learning in fits and bursts. As well as being erudite and a born linguist, Cate has a talent for meeting your needs with understanding and teaching pragmatic day-to-day constructions rather than school-book language. I'd wholeheartedly recommend her if you are an adult wishing to pick up or polish your French or Spanish. We also laugh a lot!

Cate was very good at assessing where our son was with his French and systematically helped him work on his weaker areas. Nicola at Forest 1st Tutoring managed to work wonders in getting our daughter up to speed in time for the 11+ exam. We left it very late in the day to start preparing and Nicola agreed to tutor across the summer term and summer holidays - primarily using group work with additional one-on-one sessions on top. The transformation in our daughter’s confidence and attainment was amazing. The tutoring would have been worthwhile regardless of the outcome as not only has she achieved a solid pass in the 11+, she has also been really well set up to make a happy and confident start to year 6.

I highly recommend Nicola and her team they're amazing! Nicola has a unique and impressive teaching style. Congratulations for the culture created by the team, which encourages learning through the positive relationships empowered by the tutors! Great to see there is tuition available online, workshops are available to deliver tips for exams preparation and the team also facilitates regular progress meetings. Aaron and team are brilliant! So very good at knowing what makes our kids tick and helping them. Also very accommodating with us. I would like to extend a massive thank you to Aaron and his team for their support for my children. My girls had not completed the curriculum for Year 3 when they started Year 4, to my shock, when we joined Explore. Their progress had been badly hampered by Covid and schools closing for so many months. A year later one of my girls succeeded in achieving an Academic Scholarship and both girls have just been awarded places in two of the top independent schools in Hampshire. We could not have achieved this without the Explore team's support and hard work to get their learning back where they should be and to rediscover their confidence. Aarzoo, is an great tutor and has been able to compact down GCSE maths (resist) topics too make them more understandable which has helped in my maths revision . Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. My husband and I were very pleased that we were given honest feedback by Howard, who was thorough and professional.
