Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. The goal was for our children to start senior school with as much confidence as possible with their maths skills so they never felt behind others making this transition in their schooling. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I'm very pleased that after their first session both our children said it was very worthwhile and enjoyable - I didn't anticipate this so was thrilled it was the case. Our children quickly developed their skills and confidence and as a result, achieved very well in their two first term assessments. This was a good confidence boost and has placed them in a good maths set. The tutoring is helpful, supportive, but also challenging which is essential for the children to achieve rapid progress. Yasmine deserves a huge amount of recognition and thanks for the work she has done with our daughter in preparation for her maths GCSE. Despite my husband being a total maths buff and trying repeatedly to help with our daughter's understanding, it just wasn't working and we turned to A Helping Hand. After only the first session, it was like a mist had started to lift and this is all down to Yasmine's ability to engage her students and explain things in a way they can understand. Fantastic tutor. My daughter is quite shy and has always struggled with maths as she is dyslexic. Yasmine really managed to bond with her and my daughter always came out smiling after her session with Yaz. We have had Yasmine all the way through my daughters gcse yrs and it really made her more confident in maths and I think she enjoyed the subject much more with the extra help from Yasmine. Adolf is truly an amazing maths tutor. His cool, calm and gentle manner has really helped my sons mathematical competence. He explains each topic clearly until it is fully understood and then retests them at a later date, making sure the information has definitely sunk in. This is backed up with homework and revision . My son came to Adolf having to resit his Maths GCSE in order to progress to the next stage in his learning journey. We are very happy with the tutor service Adolf has provided to my son and daughter. My second daughter is currently at Teach It Right and I didn't hesitate to send her after my first daughter went several years ago. I think Teach It Right pitches their teaching just right, they try to make it fun and engaging for pupils. Aarzoo, is an great tutor and has been able to compact down GCSE maths (resist) topics too make them more understandable which has helped in my maths revision . She has also helped how I approach the exam and has given me more confidence in a short amount of time since I have only had tutoring for less than 2 months.

Can’t thank Sumit and Aarzoo enough for the help and support they gave my son in preparation for his GCSEs last year, which undoubtedly helped him achieve a whole two grades above his expected grade in his final exams for Maths. We have been so pleased with the English tutoring our son Sam received from Gavin. Thanks to Nicki and Gavin.
