Being a tutor at Big Fish has been an amazing experience. Everyone here is extremely friendly and there is so much support from other tutors as well as the managers too who are always very helpful and make sure that all our questions and parents queries are always answered. The teaching style at big fish is very unique- using a mixture of independent, group and white board work. Due to the small groups of students in each class, we are able to adjust to the child’s needs as well as help them strive to be the best they can. Big fish follows the national curriculum and breaks it down to make it easier for our students to understand. As well as this, Big Fish offers parents feedback after every lesson to ensure that the child’s progress is being monitored by us as well as the parents which is one of the essential ways of providing support to the children and parents. Throughout the academic year, there are many test weeks that allow us as tutors to test the understanding of students and also provide extra support to students and parents if needed by understanding our students strengths and weaknesses.
