Just wanted to put on record our thanks for all the help and support you gave our daughter Olivia in her Combined Science GCSE. Her class had gone through numerous chemistry teachers at school and there were definite gaps in her knowledge. Mr Murphy was approachable and made learning fun. So my son returned to the learning journey after sending him for English classes for a while whilst in year five or six
He showed massive improvement back then in a relatively short period so when it came to him getting closer to taking his important GCSE exams I thought that if he’d made such improvements back then for his sats that with some new guidance that this could work again to give him some focused structure on studying maths and science in the lead up to his actual summer GCSEs

Both of my daughters attend The Learning Journey Tuition Centre for GCSE Science tuition. Despite being different characters with different learning styles, both excelled under the tuition of Mr Murphy, who adapted his teaching style and pace to suit each child.

The classes were all well planned, covering in detail the topics most likely to come up in the GCSE exams and it was extremely helpful to have access to the Powerpoint slides, which are sent vey shortly after the session to reinforce the learning.

Mr Murphy is always generous with his time and sharing of knowledge and there was always the offer to stay after the class if they had any particular questions which were not covered in class, and they wanted him to go through.

Clare & Emily as organisers of The Learning Journey Tuition Centre are extremely friendly and approachable and try to be as flexible as possible.
