Miguel tutored my daughter for nearly 1 year for her 11+ and I can’t recommend him enough. His skills, patience, supportive and caring personality made the studies more enjoyable. His half term and holidays workshops were outstanding and very interesting.

We also enjoyed very much taking part in the hypnotherapy session before the tests.

Miguel tutored my son. My son really enjoyed his lessons. He used to said “if he wasn’t for the way Miguel is, I would not be coming for tutoring on Friday evening”. Miguel tutored my daughter for 2 years in preparation for the 11+. We were very happy with his encouraging, caring and mindful approach to teaching and my daughter enjoyed attending his sessions. He would set my daughter work to do at home which challenged her, and she was lucky enough to pass the Newstead Wood test, the Bexley Test and the Kent Test. Thank you Miguel.

Miguel did an excellent job with our daughter. Did an initial assessment 12 months before the Kent Test.
Then worked through strategies, examples and techniques. Miguel identified and worked on some basic missing skills that were essential for harder later work.
This was crucial. As the test neared Miguel advised on just the right amount of daily work needed and avoided the temptation to do too much.
In the end our daughter passed with a great score. This was all in a 12m period and she never met Miguel as it was all done over Zoom due to Covid.
Miguel made the learning and strategies engaging and all without any stress. Couldn’t recommend Miguel highly enough!
