Tutor Space have being doing 1-2-1 tuition & group lessons with my child for about 3 years now. And the results have been phenomenal. My child’s academic performance took a nose dive during the pandemic. But Tutor Space helped us turn things around. Tutor space tutors have been teaching my 2 children for the past 6+ years. They are simply amazing. The tutors go above and beyond other tutors I feel and I am so grateful. Kirujan is by far the most effective tutor we have ever had (and we had quite a few). Bright, professional, kind and attentive, Kiru made sure that our son arrived confident and well prepared to the entry tests of a selective and prestigious independent school in Cambridge (Y9). My daughters (Y9 and Y11) had 1 to 1 maths lessons with Muhammad. I highly recommend him and would use him again without hesitation. I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. The matched tutors for Sociology and Geography A level were outstanding. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. Uber Tutors coached my child through their dyslexia diagnosis, immediately understanding their needs and instilling confidence. They have now finished A levels top of their class and top three in their year for their chosen subjects, including A*s in Sociology and Geography. In total 3 x A* and 1 x A. Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson. As a result, our son passed his GCSES with very good results. Thank you Uber tutors.

The tutor matched to me was very helpful. Her essay writing course contributed to my first year history average going from a mid 2.1 to a high 1 in second year. Russell has been providing secondary level maths lessons for my daughter over the summer. She has really enjoyed them and has engaged well, even when challenged. We are thrilled with our year 10 son’s progress in English having started tuition with Osborne Cawkwell. Not only have his grades steadily climbed, but the impact of his confidence has also carried over to many of his other subjects as well. His tutor Keone is both an expert in tuition and teen mentoring. We feel very lucky to have his support as our son progresses through his GCSEs. I can't rate this Kumon centre highly enough. After reading an article about women not doing as well in the workplace because they lack confidence in maths and figures I wanted to ensure I equipped my daughter with maths confidence. She was an average maths student struggling a little with multiplications etc I could see as maths got tougher at school she would start to fall behind so I looked at ways to help her - Kumon! Carol the tutor is amazing at what she does! My daughter has been going here for almost a year now and her maths has improved so much. She is now flying through long multiplications. She has been moved into top set maths at school too! She completes a math paper everyday which takes about 20 minutes and goes to the centre once a week. Sometimes she doesn't want to do the paper but of course has to, so this too is a good lesson that daily practice leads to confidence and results. If you are thinking of a maths programme I would highly recommend Kumon and this particular centre run by Carol! UPDATE - my daughter was 12ish when she started Kumon. And she did it for several years. She is now 19. She went on to do a Maths A-level in Statistics and aced it. I never thought in a million years that my daughter would be doing a maths A-level! Proud! I’m 100% certain that it was the confidence that Carol and Kumon gave her that supported her doing better at school and progressing. Thanks Carol!

We have been doing Kumon with Carol for 2 years plus and the transformation has been amazing. My daughter went from tears and sulks to dreaming about it!! She even declared last week that it “was quite cool actually” and has made maths at school so easy! It has also increased her confidence, she has loved and flourished from the challenge and has transferred the discipline she has learned from Kumon to her homework and school work. It has made her feel empowered and responsible for her learning. All that at 6 years old! This is thanks to Carol for her patient and empathetic teaching style whilst still demanding commitment and performance from the student. Even during lockdown, it help provide much needed structure. Since Alessandra started with our group I have seen a huge improvement with my son. In the past he would cry and/or sulk everytime he sat down to do his kumon work, but now it is a part of his routine and he is so proud of himself when he does well. The change in venue has been great for not only the children but also for us parents. The last venue was very dark, dismal and cold without adequate toilet facilities. The Jean Stokes building is bright, airy, clean and it's a much better working environment for him. Thank you Alessandra and Kumon for everything that you've done to provide a safe, friendly and professional working environment. It's always a joy for all of us to see her smiling face every week!

I have been a tutor at Tavistock for almost a year now and they are by FAR the best agency I have worked with! Their tutors are excellent, and their treatment of tutors is even better.
