Couldn’t rate expert tuition higher. I have just finished my economics A level and in all honesty without using Expert tuition resources and livestreams I would have done nowhere near as well as I feel I have done. For any year 12 or year 13 student studying economics I would really recommend either going to one of the courses or at least watching the livestreams before you do you exams! Otherwise you are at a major disadvantage.

My daughter attends this centre and she absolutely loves it. The brothers who teach her are amazing at what they do allahumma barik and she is always looking forward to going to class. It is also amazing that they have considered the homeschooling community and facilitated this for us during school times. If you are homeschooling and looking for somewhere to complement the work you do with your child or you want to test that your child is at the right level then this is a great place to come on Thursday at 1pm to 3pm as it is specifically for homeschooling families. They offer English, Maths and science.

Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. I sent my daughter to Excellence Tuition after being recommended by a friend. My aim was to build her confidence as she wasn’t thriving at school. Jamie is a really excellent maths tutor. He worked with my Year 6 boy who had very low confidence in his maths abilities, and had become really nervous about tackling sums. Jamie worked with him slowly and surely to rebuild his confidence and help him to enjoy maths. As a result, by the end of Year 6 he did well in his SATS, had a completely different attitude and much more confidence. He actually enjoyed the lessons as they were so much fun with Jamie.
