I have been an English tutor with Harrison Allen for 12 years and have always found the staff to be professional, friendly and very supportive of their tutors. The tutors I have worked alongside when teaching in small groups in schools have also been keen to collaborate and work together towards the same goals. During the pandemic when GCSEs were cancelled, I joined other agencies and not one could live up to the high standards of Harrison Allen in terms of professionalism, pay and how well they treat their tutors. Hess tutored our 8 year old son and he couldn't have been more kind and patient with him. Hess tailored each lesson specifically to our son's interests, linked this with what was being taught at school each week (as far as possible) and ensured there was a good level of challenge in the work.
