My son missed a lot of the summer term in the year prior to his GCSE exams, due to illness, so asked for help to boost his predicted grades post his Mocks. We reached out to Chris for help in GCSEs for the 3 sciences and maths at the beginning of February. My son really enjoyed Chris’ sessions online and made an instant connection with Chris. My son found his teaching style engaging and completed all set tasks by Chris which made for productive sessions for both. Would highly recommend as all grades improved by at least one grade from his predictions and for Physics an uptick of 2 grades. Thanks Chris as have a very happy son who got the grades he needed to go to the 6th Form of his choice !

We engaged Chris to help with the preparation of my son's personal statement which was in need of serious improvement I am glad to report that it turned out to be a great decision. Chris took it and over only a couple of focused sessions turned it into something both my son and I called perfect. It simply couldn't be better and Chris shaped it to overcome a couple of potential issues my son had in his circumstances Chris was super knowledgeable from the start and showed an expert grasp of what was needed. He was also friendly and even tolerated a couple of IT issues we had without complaint Massively recommended by my son and myself

I cannot recommend Christopher highly enough! He has been an outstanding GCSE Math and Science tutor for my sons. I had online tuition from Chris through both my GCSEs and A levels, he is very patient and clearly explained the tricky topics at A level. He helped me achieve an A* in chemistry A level, when I was predicted an A, and helped me secure my place at medical school. He is a great tutor and I could not recommend him more.

I have been a tutor at Tavistock for almost a year now and they are by FAR the best agency I have worked with! Their tutors are excellent, and their treatment of tutors is even better. They provide regular clients whose needs are perfectly aligned to the tutor's skills, making the process as simple as signing up! They always maintain contact to make sure the tutoring is going well, and in doing so are one of the few agencies to take care of the tutor as well as the client!

Tavistock Tutors are fantastic. I've been a tutor with them since 2015 and they're brilliant. Communication is great and they are always available for a chat if I need some assistance. I have been with this centre for a few years now and I can honestly say that they provide an excellent service. Tutors will work with both parent and child to provide personalised support aimed at working on any areas of weakness or to help achieve their academic goals. Staff are very polite, responsive and really do care. Personally, they have supported my daughters to pass their 11+ exams with offers from several grammar and independent schools. My daughters are also at the top in their class and will bring work from school for extra support if needed. I couldn't have asked for more as a parent and I highly recommend this centre!

Rishi has been supporting me for my A level / further Math and Physics course. Our lessons are going quite well so far, I feel the content we cover is good and so are the questions. We have covered topics such as differentiation, gradients, circle theorems, quadratic equations and many more. I find it helpful when we go through examples and when Rishi shows me the working out for a question

There was a perfect balance between practice questions / discussions, feedback and general tips- not only for the content of my answers, but also for their structure and wording. My son found Alun absolutely perfect for him, he enjoyed every session with him and usually came out with a smile on his face as he had learnt something new again. Kevin is an outstanding and naturally gifted tutor who was able to put my daughter at ease from the 1st lesson. He understands the teenage brain and works very well in nurturing his student with versatility and consideration of their current mindset. He has such a vast knowledge and currently, we are focussing on maths yet we could include the sciences, too, in the future, if necessary. Kevin gives such great tips that are current and helpful for exam revision. Kavita Arif is an excellent Math teacher. She has been tutoring my son for a few weeks, and her teaching method is very interactive. She keeps her students engaged continuously and works them through any sticky patches they might encounter. She is brilliant, and I highly recommend her. Safiyyah is an excellent Biology, Chemistry and Geography teacher. She has extensive knowledge of her subjects and is gentle with her students, allowing them to be comfortable and grasp the subject matter she teaches. My daughter really enjoys coming. I can see that she is more confident and become a little explorer. The staff are polite and work to understand your child's needs. For the past two years, my son has been attending Explore Learning in Brixton. He has made significant progress in both English and maths throughout his stay here. Not only that, but his confidences have improved as well. The staff members are friendly and supportive, and he always leaves satisfied. His teachers at school have also given me excellent feedback, praising him for his performance in both subjects and mentioning how much he enjoys maths.
