We first had Gerard tutor our son for a short time to prepare for 10 plus entrance and it was very successful as he gained a scholarship. Our son has been struggling with GCSE maths and has been lacking confidence and we suggested getting a tutor and he asked for Gerard again. In 2 months, my son's confidence is so much higher and he says he understands what he does in school lessons much more clearly thanks to Gerard. Hopefully this understanding and confidence will carry on into the exams this summer. I just wanted to edit this to say, we received my son's GCSEs today and we are delighted with the result he achieved in maths, after starting the year barely scraping a 6. Gerard was a first rate tutor via Zoom for our daughter throughout the later part of year 11. He was organised, explained concepts clearly and was very helpful in providing question practice. His lessons instilled a confidence in our daughter which she never gained from lessons at school. She achieved an A, and this was largely down to the work Gerard did with her. He was very helpful in organising extra lessons as exam season approached. I cannot recommend his tutoring service highly enough and only wish we had found him earlier.
