Communicative, professional and cost-effective. This is the first time I’ve needed a plumber since moving to Stamford - for an urgent job to replace my hot water tank. Scott was responsive and had a quote to me quickly - and gave good advice. He was professional and very tidy. I will continue to use Platinum’s services in future and would definitely recommend their services.

Scott did an excellent plumbing job on both our toilets and fixed the problematic piping noises. Also he carried out a thorough professional job on servicing the boiler. I would highly recommend Scott as you feel you are in a safe hands. He will be the go to man for future plumbing requirements.

Scott came round within a couple of hours of calling. I had a leak in the loft and he found the problem and sorted it within 20 minutes. He also removed a dead bird that had got stuck in an outlet pipe. The cost of repairing some items in the water tank and doing some work to a pipe all came in extremely reasonably. Bird removal was free. I will use Scott again and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Very professional and friendly.

I experienced a worrying leak in CH/HW system and called Scott who said he'd come the next morning, which he dutifully did on time. He inspected the problem, sent me an estimate, and returned that same afternoon after accepting his quote. Professional and reliable. During the annual boiler checking and servicing, the gas engineer found there was a small amount of gas leak in the system. He carefully checked every single point and eventually had to take out the oven and found the gas leaking point was right underneath the gas hob. It was believed that the gas had been leaking for quite a long time. One important point I need to say is that the gas supply company had just replaced a new gas meter about a month ago, but they failed to find this gas leak during the meter replacement work.

Was helped by a lovely man called Steve. I was having problems of a leak under my kitchen sink couldn’t figure it out for the life of me. Steve came in very professional and fixed it for me. Highly would recommend!

I have recently had a lot of work completed at my house and I would highly recommend the team. George and Gaz in office are very helpful and are quick to come back to calls if needed. Johnny has done an amazing job with installing my new kitchen and bathroom, completing all of the woodwork required, a lot of this was done by hand including the panelling up the stairs which I am very happy with. Harry has also been very helpful with the plumbing works and a good source of entertainment. A very friendly and happy business that I would definitely use again if needed.

Stuart was excellent. Installed unvented hot water cylinder and all the bits that go with it. Removed all the old water system and complexity of pipes that others had installed. A really excellent job, leaving us with pressure and piping hot water. He even insisted on cleaning everything up afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Booked George for a couple of plumbing jobs and can honestly say from the first point of contact to the completion of the jobs we received a 5 star service. He was quick to reply to messages and was very reliable. The work was carried out to a very high standard and the areas were left very clean and tidy, he was very knowledgable and one of the jobs required less work than was first believed and George was open and honest in a fix that would cost less. We would give more than 5 stars if we could, and have now found our new family plumber.

Can’t recommend Stacey enough! He is always our first thought for any plumbing job. He has fitted our en-suite and has also fitted us with new radiators. When my partner went through a water pipe on Saturday afternoon, he showed up in 5 minutes and repaired the pipe along with other extras needed. Always a brilliant job and couldn’t be a nicer bloke! Absolutely saved the day on Saturday when our oil boiler stopped working in the cold weather. I called lots of plumbers but as it was the weekend many weren't willing to help. Grays Plumbing called me back and talked me through the issue very patiently and I was able to sort it out. Called with a emergency late within the evening. He came out with 20 minutes due to water leak, from a old water tap connected to the machine washing. Very friendly, and welcoming when he arrived. I can not fault his professionalism. Helpful with this explanation to why to problems and willing to fix the issue with a better connector for the water pipe to the washing machine, within a few days so I won't be it. Happy to leave me his machine to help me to get the rest of the water sucked up. My honest opinion, 100% comes recommended from me. I cannot recommend Simon and his company highly enough. I first called Simon when I had a problem with my oil tank and also needed my oil boiler servicing early December. Simon was brilliant. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and very professional whilst being super friendly. He solved the problem with my oil tank and talked about my boiler. I was very impressed that he phoned a couple of weeks later to check everything was working well. Moving to this week I had to call Simon as boiler developed a fault. Knowing my partner had health problems he attended friday evening without hesitation. Sadly boiler fault is terminal( corroded water tank) I have already spoken to Simon about moving to gas and he had supplied a fair quote to change over which I accepted because customer service like Simon provides is priceless. I’m looking forward to Simon fitting my new boiler knowing that it will have been installed to the highest standards.

I had a new boiler installed after my old one had failed. From the start I felt i could trust Simon as he talked me through the different options. Simon, Luke and Bradley arrived at the time they said they would and completed the installation all in one day. They also replaced a valve on one of the radiators and removed some unsightly pipework outside of the house re-routing t the downstairs WC. All works were carried out efficiently and to a high standard; it is evident they take pride in their work. Simon, Luke and Bradley are polite and respectful and a pleasure to meet. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Upon servicing my 24 year old boiler Simon discovered a problem which resulted in having to have a new boiler. He quickly provided a quote and his team fitted it 3 weeks later ( with Christmas break in between). Luke and Bradley are very trustworthy being left in my property, efficient and are a credit to the company I was impressed with how tidy everywhere was left as it wasn't a simple boiler replace. It had to be moved from downstairs to upstairs which caused extra work routing the gas pipes up. They kept me informed throughout. They even went that little bit extra and removed an old wasp nest in my loft. Thanks guys. Simon contacted me after to ensure everything was ok I used optimum to replace a boiler at my previous property 2 years ago and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our boiler eventually decided to stop working on Christmas Day morning! Simon came out to us a couple of days later and we now have heating and hot water. He was absolutely superb from start to finish, with communications on phone and face to face when he came to fit parts and get it working again. We will be using Optimum again in the near future.
