I've used this company a few times now and have only had good experiences. Most recently they have updated my ancient hot water system. Superb equipment and top quality work. Jason was very careful to ensure that the new installation was compatible with my electrical system and I really appreciate that attention to safety. We had a real mystery problem that was driving us bonkers. We had cold water to every tap/shower/toilet in the house but in the middle floor the cold simply stopped working for the sink and toilet even though the shower next to them had no problem. We contacted J&S and they gave us an early appointment two days later. Our problem was solved when in walked Jarrod. Although agreeing that there was no obvious solution he worked the problem, went over the valves next to the tank and in little less than an hour the water was flowing again. He also diagnosed a separate potential problem which he was able to fix the same morning. So top marks to our hero Jarrod and top marks to J&S for a speedy and keenly priced service. Big fans.

Very pleased with the service we receive from Peace of mind plumbing and heating. Our boiler was installed by them 5 years ago and is working well. Our annual service is undertaken promptly and efficiently. Stephen is courteous and always cleans up before leaving. My experience with Steve and his work was second to none, I can be a bit picky and hard to please but there was nothing that concerned me at all, and we were very happy with his workmanship, we truly chose the best of the best for our boiler replacement and happy for him to come back and continue to look after our boiler, in fact in the near future we will ask him to come back and carry out more work in our home, as we would feel very comfortable and confident the job will get done to a high standard. Steve, did a fantastic job from our boiler service to sorting out the gas board, fixing the problem with our piping as we had no pressure when hot water was turned on, installing our new hob as the old one was leaking, all done in good time, excellent workmanship very professional and polite, would highly recommend and will definitely be using Steve again

Absolutely saved the day on Saturday when our oil boiler stopped working in the cold weather. I called lots of plumbers but as it was the weekend many weren't willing to help. Grays Plumbing called me back and talked me through the issue very patiently and I was able to sort it out. Thank you so much - it was absolutely freezing (-4) and with three small children including a newborn he really did save the day!

Excellent experience with Grays Plumbing and Heating. Emergency call out on a Friday evening due to my own mistake - Stacey was responsive and arrived within the hour. Resolved the issue promptly, very tidy work, and also provided lots of advice and assistance in getting the system refilled and pressurised. Fee was very reasonable. Can't recommend enough and we'll have no hesitation in using again for future plumbing work we need doing.

Called with a emergency late within the evening. He came out with 20 minutes due to water leak, from a old water tap connected to the machine washing. Very friendly, and welcoming when he arrived. I can not fault his professionalism. Helpful with this explanation to why to problems and willing to fix the issue with a better connector for the water pipe to the washing machine, within a few days so I won't be it. Happy to leave me his machine to help me to get the rest of the water sucked up. My honest opinion, 100% comes recommended from me. Number noted down for any further plumbing issues I may have within the future. ✨️✨️

Previously had an lpg boiler installed by Rick Smith and his team following a reccomendation. Rick was the only person who managed to work out the problems with our heating system when others couldn't. They returned today to do it's annual service and we're as prompt and professional as they were a year ago. No hidden costs, good quality work and excellent communication each time we deal with them. I highly recommend this small independent local company that provide a high quality friendly professional service. We had a cold radiator and their engineer came round and did a thorough investigation. The rad’ was thoroughly blocked so we ended up power flushing the system. The radiator is now fixed and the whole house is so much warmer! Plus I can tell already from the smart meter it’s going to save me lots on my heating bills. A brilliant job all round!

Communicative, professional and cost-effective. This is the first time I’ve needed a plumber since moving to Stamford - for an urgent job to replace my hot water tank. Scott came round within a couple of hours of calling. I had a leak in the loft and he found the problem and sorted it within 20 minutes. He also removed a dead bird that had got stuck in an outlet pipe. The cost of repairing some items in the water tank and doing some work to a pipe all came in extremely reasonably. Bird removal was free. I will use Scott again and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Very professional and friendly.

I experienced a worrying leak in CH/HW system and called Scott who said he'd come the next morning, which he dutifully did on time. He inspected the problem, sent me an estimate, and returned that same afternoon after accepting his quote. We had a swift response to our enquiry from Kev, who was highly accommodating in arranging a date for our boiler service (thank you for managing to fit us in before Christmas!). Considering we are in a new build property we expected (hoped) it would be a relatively straight forward procedure. The service was completed efficiently and was explained thoroughly. Kev highlighted a number of issues and corners that had been cut by the house builder, he was even able to rectify some during his visit. We have a faulty boiler part under warranty with ATAG. Ultimate heating solutions should cover my area (Grantham) as an ongoing contract they have with ATAG. They were informed on Friday morning to ring us and arrange an appointment. However, we did not hear back from them and were left without heating for a further 3 days. After some further discussions between ATAG and Matt from Ultimate Heating Solutions, he did come after just over a week. Communication with him this time was excellent. He apologised, was polite and knowledgeable and most important the boiler got fixed. I therefore edited this review.
