Absolutely sterling service, very highly recommended. I started using 1st Avenue for a toilet replacement and was so impressed at the tidiness and professionalism. I then went on to use them last year for a whole bathroom gut and install, combining two rooms into one and then just recently for a complete kitchen gut and install, including rewiring and installation of a skylight. I am overjoyed with the results. As well as a great standard of work, they have good ideas to make things even better and are extremely competitive. I've included the 'before' photos too, such a transformation for both. I've also used them to sort out radiators and all work has been carried out efficiently and pleasantly.

Great standard and at a good rate Boiler installation, sinking pipes & moving radiators. Really clear about timings and schedule of work throughout. Boiler was sized up to suit our house and plans over the expected life (10-15 years). Pipe work where sunken or for moved radiators was well inbedded in the walls to make the plastering easy. They also bricked up the exit hole of the previous boilers gas exit with bricks that match our house.

Excellent firm. I have used this company on a number of occasions for various boiler issues and general plumbing work. All work expertly and meticulously done with very reasonable prices. Unlike many, they answer the phone promptly and respond quickly to attend the job. Recently had to urgently get a quote for a water leak - Ed was there the same day. I can't thank this firm enough for all the help they've given us.

I've used 1st Avenue a few times now, and am always impressed with their service and expertise. I recently had my boiler replaced by Ed and Tim, who, from start to finish were both professional and friendly, making the whole process incredibly smooth. They arrived on time and got straight to work, completing the replacement quickly without any issues, and sharing their knowledgeable expertise along the way. Not only did they do an excellent job with the installation, but they also left my kitchen as tidy as they found it. Ed recently replaced my boiler. He installed the new boiler quickly without any issues, rebuilt my cabinet to fit the new boiler, registered the associated paperwork, tidied the utility room after the work had been completed and arranged for the old boiler and its associated parts to be removed. He also installed the boiler very quickly after my initial call out as we have a small baby. Great service. Thank you Ed!
