Brought a tree here today on a busy Sunday. Staff were great helping with parking, massive range of trees and other bits and bobs. Got the tree and help ya self to clippings! What more could you ask for?

Good selection of trees, the board at the front only had examples of the types though so it's hard to know what you're looking at as you're walking around to choose. Car park is small and muddy so bring wellies! You can buy a pre-cut without choosing or you can walk around and choose which one you want cut.

I’ve just moved to a new house and am very keen to get stuck in with my garden, but was a bit overwhelmed with ideas and not sure what would be best for my space. Alison has done a great job for us. We moved in to a new home with a expanse of grass from fence to fence and being non-gardeners didn't have a clue what to do. On her first visit we gave Alison a long list of things we like or things we've seen in country gardens and expected she would use a couple of the suggestions, but no, she managed to incorporate every single one! Over the following 12 months Alison has been there to advise on layout, choosing and sourcing the plants and helping with the planting, with the end result being a spectacular garden. In fact, her imaginative layout is almost like having three different gardens depending on where you are sitting.

We used Take Root garden design’s “design in a day service” as our small garden required redesigning after a small extension had been built. Alison’s ideas were a perfect way to transform a large wall and some concrete bases we had struggled to integrate into the garden. Alison design included raised beds, integral seating patio and utility areas, with complementary planting ideas. The design is recently complete using a landscaping company recommended by Alison that I would also highly recommend. The garden is now another room in our home as it has been designed to be viewed from both downstairs rooms. This is the most pleasing aspect it definitely meets the saying of “bringing the outside in”. The colours of the bricks, paving and planting Alison design blends and complements our indoor room, very clever indeed, seeing is believing. If you want a garden which works for you and saves you costly mistakes I would highly recommend Take Root garden design. It is great value for money, with a design Alison produces which works, I would highly recommend this service.

I can’t fault Graham and his team. They were putting in a long concrete path to give a flat access to our church hall. They were working by the Church and school and were really helpful to people by trying not to get in their way when dropping off children. Graham kept in touch every day to ensure we had everything we had asked for and the path is perfect and many parishioners have commented on the excellent work. I would definitely recommend Garden Revamps. Adding to this review as they have now finished the second section of work putting up a 6ft fence and two more gates covering a large area. Just as with the other job, arrived on time did the job professionally and worked hard to finish it for us. Looks great. Again would highly recommend and we will certainly use Garden Revamps again.

My mum has just had her garden done and this is her feedback.... A job very well done by Graham and his team. We just had our back garden transformed, with new bespoke tiles and some beautiful looking steps, spaced out safely to avoid falling and made larger than before to give more depth to the overall look, which is stunning and will be so much easier for us to maintain. I would just like to say a massive thank you to Graham for taking my garden work on. From start to finish the lads have being awesome and I'm quite picky with tradesmen but have to say that Tom and Shaun have been brilliant and do work thier socks off and the finish product is awesome. I've had my front lawn taken up, cultivated and returfed and the back garden fence has been pulled down and a new one put up. The lads were punctual, reliable, friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall if I need anymore work doing then these are my go to indeed and will be recommending them to others

Thankyou for an absolutely brilliant job, especially so with it being just before Christmas. After the last storms, my complete back garden fence had come down blocking the park snicket behind my house which a lot of people use this snicket as a short cut to park. Not only did Rob come highly recommended but him and his team worked hard and even managed to finish a day before the due finishing date, proper grafters. They were there first thing and worked through each day until just before dark. The finished job was exactly what I wanted, Thankyou again and Merry Christmas 🎄

We are really pleased with our new patio. Rob and his team did a great job from helping us with our design ideas through to completion of the job on time and accurate to the initial quote . He and his team were hard working, efficient and tidy. We also appreciated that he had old stone slabs to use for our job in keeping with the look of our house and existing stone path. He also laid us a base for our new green house at short notice . We would definitely recommend RS landscaping and are glad we chose this company .

We used RS Groundworks to redesign and landscape our back garden. This involved construction of a retaining wall, earthworks, patio relaying/extension and turf installation, amongst other things. We agreed a date for the work to take place and Rob turned up on time with all the equipment. We had some last minute changes to the design which Rob was happy to accommodate, he also gave us advise on how to make the best use of some of the spaces in our garden. We were really pleased with the quality and consistency throughout and the finished work was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be using RS Groundworks again and can't recommend highly enough.

Amazing job by Rob at our place over the last 3 weeks. He and Ash worked tirelessly on our patio and driveway and have completely transformed our outdoor space. Rob was great from the minute we spoke to him - he had some cracking ideas which was great as we weren’t really sure what we wanted. Some contractors want to know exact details of what work needs doing right from the start but Rob worked flexibly with us throughout to take into account our changing priorities. Can’t speak highly enough of Rob - he has a mantra of seeing a job through to the end which was great as we weren’t really sure what “the end” should look like. James & John replaced my fence at very short notice. They arrived, gave me a super competitive quote and were back in under a week to complete the job. The finished result was excellent despite horrendous weather and James not being very well. I would have no hesitation in recommending James and his team and I will go nowhere else in the future. Stuart originally did our next door neigbour's garden and we were very impressed with the work so asked him to look at our front garden. He provided guidance and recomnended the best options for extending the drive so that 2 cars can be parked on it. The end result is perfect with a sleeper border which we have yet to put plants in. We had made a start on the back garden and were looking at doing the fencing ourselves but asked Stuart to quote and were more than happy with the price and so he went ahead. Stuart worked incredibly hard to transform my garden from plain old grass into a wonderful place where I love spending my time now. We have been delighted with Mark and his team in transforming our ‘new build’ garden into something mature and quite beautiful. Having been very happy with the creation of raised beds and the planting to front and side borders we asked Mark to come up with a plan to discuss for our very large rear border already housing 8 fully mature trees. “A walk in the Woods’ was an inspired design with steel moon gates, seating areas, pathways, water features and an outstanding planting design. We couldn’t be happier. The icing on the cake was just how personable and professional Mark, Jackie and Craig were. It was as if they’ve were doing their own garden !
