I was very nervous about this appointment as I had my 3 month old son with me but I had no childcare. I shouldn't have worried as Dee put my mind at rest and made me feel completely welcome with him and said there were enough people to settle him if needed (it was only a check up appointment). I was completely put at ease and whilst having my check up someone did come in to keep my son occupied which made the whole experience less stressful!

So glad I moved to Shine Dental from my old NHS practice. The service is excellent with regular scheduled appointments throughout the year that suit my busy diary, efficient reminders and nothing is too much trouble. I pay a small monthly fee that covers my dental needs and am so glad I made the switch!

Visited Skircoat Green Dentist for full oral assessment and clean with pleasant and competent practitioner, Reem who supported by equally pleasant and competent nurse, Karen, not only came up with an accurate diagnosis and affordable treament plan but completely relaxed me while so doing. A fantastic dental surgery! Friendly, helpful staff who explain each aspect of your treatment from the moment you step through the door. Emails and text messages sent regularly to remind you of your appointment. Have joined their dental plan which means you spread the cost out. I am very happy with the surgery and would highly recommend them.

My family have been going to Skircoat Dental for a few years now. We find Reem very friendly, she has a great ability to put your mind at rest. Her approach is honest and open which is refreshing and we feel confident with her dental care. The dental nurses are also lovely and we always leave with a smile on our face.

I have been with this Dentist for 3 years my experience with Skircoat Green Dental Practice has always been amazing. The care and empathy is outstanding. I have had surgery, with implants and the care of the overall dental staff was excellent. Neil who has been my main Dentist completed surgery and implants, he listens,understand any fears, and discusses all parts of each process with precision, his after care and support has been outstanding and is consitent in his approach, care and dentistry. I go to this practice every 3 month for after care and checkups with other Dentists at the practice and they are all consistent within their care and approach. I highly recommend a visit to this practice

Stunningly brilliant service from the whole dental team at Mytholmroyd. I have been a patient of theirs for a number of years now and am constantly impressed by the professionalism and caring, sensitive and knowledgeable approach of their dental nurses when I ring up with a concern, and during visits, as well as to the sensitive and caring approach of the dentist I see, Richard. I am drawn to write a review today after experiencing exceptional service prior to and during an appointment for emergency dental care. I have chronic health issues and associated disability and extra support needs in terms of accessing dental care and they could not do enough for me to make everything accessible and a stress free (and even pleasant!) experience. Thank you to Richard (dentist) and to all the team who supported me in today's appointment and the lead up to it, and generally over the years I've been a patient with you.

I have accompanied my mum to the Old Church for several years and their customer service is always superb. It’s a beautiful building, immaculate inside with a calm atmosphere. Each member of staff is so warm and welcoming they immediately put you at ease. I have never been to a more friendly practice where everyone is helpful, chatty and show genuine interest in their patients. My mum is very happy going there and looks forward to her regular visits as they treat her with the utmost care and respect.

Having been to the Old Church Dental Practice and having always been worried by attending dentists, this group of specialists really do take that dread away. Moazzam is a real dental artist, kind and caring and the finished tooth is a work of art. Thelma is also kind and caring and a real specialist. Having had root canal treatment her work is precise and painless a real gem. In general, all team members are polite, always courteous and wanting to put you at your ease.

Honestly a completely different experience to anything I've had before. Every single person is friendly, helpful and it (almost) makes going to the dentist a pleasure. The receptionists are all kind, helpful and do everything they can to make your visit as pleasant as going to the dentist can be. I have seen two of the dentists at the practice and both are amazing at what they do, not only in terms of the quality of their work but also makes a refreshing change to have all options explained fully to be able to make an informed decision. I won't go anywhere else, unless all the staff leave. Highly recommend The Old Church.

I sincerely appreciate the whole team at Clough Dental Practice who have been looking after our family now for years. We attend regular dental check ups and also elect to see the hygienist. I had a long standing problem with one tooth last year, with pain on biting for a very long time. The tooth then broke and I feared I would lose it. It was saved, repaired and is now trouble and pain free. The whole team are efficient, professional and accessible.

Overwhelmed with the kindness and speed awarded to myself this morning when I telephoned seeking advice over possible infection of wisdom tooth. Within an hour the Dentist phoned for consultation and to my utmost surprise and gratitude my prescription was delivered to my door within another hour. I can't thank receptionists and doctor for their efficiency and awareness of clients restricted by Isolation due to the current epidemic. Thank you so much.

I enquired at several practices prior to Pearl Dental but never committed to the treatment plans as I didn't feel confident / comfortable enough to proceed. I stumbled across Pearl Dental, enquired and booked a consultation. Dr Narinder made me feel at ease & within about 2 minutes of chatting to her I knew that Pearl Dental was exactly what I was looking for. I want to thank Dr Narinder for being such a welcoming, lovely & genuine woman, she made me feel extremely comfortable & explained the whole treatment in such great depth; she really is a credit to the dental practice. I began my treatment in August 2023 as I was unhappy with my smile and overall look of my teeth. My treatment plan was very complex as I had a sporting injury in my teenage years which resulted in having a missing front tooth & my other front tooth snapping in half. I started Invisalign & I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of the process. In January 2024 I booked in with Emilio for a dental implant, this also left me surprised as the the thought of opening up your gums to insert a titanium screw sounds extremely painful; the procedure was pretty much pain free! Emilio was fantastic, he was very professional and I couldn't fault anything whatsoever! I finished my Invisalign treatment in April 2024 and was very happy with how my teeth were aligned; I then booked in for composite bonding on my upper & lower teeth. When I say I wasn't ready for the results that would be an understatement... The composite bonding took around 9 hours, Khawar Ali looked after my composite bonding and I just genuinely can't believe the results. A real credit to the dental practice and an absolute perfectionist, thank you Khawar I appreciate your work more than you'll imagine! I am just awaiting to get my 2 crowns made for my 2 front teeth but the whole experience from start to finish has being nothing short of exceptional. Pearl Dental certainly isn't the cheapest, but if you are looking professionals who genuinely care about your results then look no further. I couldn't recommend this dental practice enough if I tried, thank you to all the team you really are a special bunch. A special mention / thanks to Jenna & Kelsey for their exceptional customer service and for being so genuine, welcoming & professional.

Found Pearl during lockdown when other dentists turned me away with an agonising abcess, but these guys sorted it quickly - best discovery ever, lovely dentists, hygienist and admin staff. Everyone is so friendly and yet still professional, very sympathetic of my anxiety - which actually is pretty much gone now thanks to these guys - and the surgery is bright, stylish and modern, and fully equipped with the latest machines and equipment.

The most wonderful Dentist that really keeps my dentist anxiety at Bay. Don't get me wrong, I still feel anxious, I think I always will from childhood trauma, however I feel so much better with Pearl Dental, from the lovely ladies at reception, to the calming TV screens in the waiting room, to speaking to Narinder Who always makes me feel relaxed and is so lovely to talk too, and explains each step. I recently had to book an emergency appointment due to a troublesome tooth, and the care was brilliant, as always.

My experience so far can only be judged by 3 visits and, they are as a result of a decimated NHS dental system forcing me and other people to pay private, whether we can afford or not. First off, without warning, I got removed from Whitehill Dental, Illingworth, Halifax after suffering 3 years tremors and hospital visits to see consultants, caused by an injection in my gum at their practice, that ended up in my upper and side of head! This has caused me further distress by no longer having an NHS Dentist. Non are taking on any NHS customers anywhere. Only private, expensive paying ones. I had to resort to desperate DIY attempts to try treat my broken, painful teeth but, unsuccessful. So, I attended a half price offer for a first check up at £40 at Pearl Dental. The result being, I need treatment that'll cost £3,035.00+ estimate. I've become a Carer for my legally blind wife for which I get a paltry £82 per week. As you can see, it'd take all £82 every week for 3 years to pay that £3,035.00! Fortunately, we have some savings that I'm having to use, despite that causing fall-outs with my wife, to pay for each part of this essential treatment. I've had 2 teeth done so far, costing £318.50. Front tooth seems okay. I've had to return 2 days later after the molar was still painful to cold and heat. The exposed dentine needed a 2 layer sealant covering. This hasn't worked as I hoped yet, so, I'm applying Sensodine toothpaste on it as advised by the 2nd dentist. This is ongoing today as I type. I'm hoping the discomfort will subside over the next week or so, especially as I'm reluctant to have to call again and, fear being charged (there was no charge for the sealant yesterday tho). I'll update later on this. As for the staff and practice, so far it's been a pleasant experience. Very polite and helpful. The dentists, a lady and, a gentleman, were very professional, welcoming and reassuring. I'll update my review (that Pearl Dentist welcomed me to do via email today) after some time, to see how things go, as required treatment is ongoing. My fear of dentists had sky-rocketed after the huge trauma experienced from my previous nightmare at Whitehill Dental. Thus, every appointment requires a lot of psyching up and, taking Kalms medication beforehand. But, my 3 visits so far, has helped reassure my fear (fear of injections remains extreemly high tho)

I Booked an emergency appointment to look at a tooth which turned out to be an infected WISDOM Tooth that had be troubling me for months and was seen by DR Hunjan on the 19th. He examined me and took xrays and explained all the options in which I chose to try and save it, during the follow up with other options Explained in detail I opted to extract the tooth ( with 3 roots) yesterday (Fastest extraction I have had- Didn't notice it was out). Mr. Hunjan is very professional , Highly exerperienced , Pays attention to details and in my Sister's (a Dentist's) words "A very Good Dentist🤩 and Great Job👏"

I booked an emergency appointment and was seen by Dr Hunjan's son. I really was not expecting a good trip, as previous visit to another practise (not Hunjan) had not been very pleasant. As the appointment progressed, it was recommended I have a root canal. I suffer from anxiety, so was a bunch nerves upon hearing this. Dr Hunjan junior (apologies, did not catch his name, but was informed by receptionist he is Dr Hunjan's son) was very reassuring, calming and explained the procedure thoroughly, explaining step by step and throughout the treatment exactly what he was doing. I cannot recommend this practise enough! Thank you so much for the time you took to reassure me and also made me feel like I mattered. You did not once make me feel as though I was being stupid, or even give the impression of getting me out the door as quick as possible. The whole treatment was beyond my expectations. The nurses in the room too were amazing! Calm, caring and very reassuring.

Mr Hunjan is a very experienced and skilled dentist, I recently visited with an excruciating wisdom tooth pain which had also been infected. The infection had spread to the Jaw and neck. Mr Hunjan took an X-ray and explained the issue and risks before continuing to advanced surgical bone removal. Was done swiftly and smoothly within 30minutes, explained aftercare procedure prescribed me antibiotics and all done. Visited several dentist prior to have this issue addressed but the removal or treatment of the wisdom tooth was too risky or complicated and was avoided by the other dentists only to be prescribed antibiotics and advised to visit the hospital. Mr Hunjan is the best out there and any issue big or small has dealt with before with nearly 40years experience.

My dentist is Andrew Lyons and over the last year I have had some fillings from him and they are perfect. I can’t tell the difference between a tooth with a filling and without. I am always really pleased with any treatment I have. However, Andrew also checks my daughters teeth who has just turned 4. Last time I went, I was horrified to find out she needed a filling in one of her baby teeth which she will have for a few years yet. Andrew explained that he could do the filling but Matilda might not tolerate it and if not it would have to be referred and become more serious. Andrew was amazing. He then took the time to speak to my little girl very kindly about fillings, in a simple way yet treating her as a grown up. He showed her what he would use and demonstrated it on her hand. When we came in for the filling he reexplained everything to her. He told her step by step what he was doing and counted down 5 seconds for her constantly through the procedure, checking she was OK and giving her a break. He told her when he had done the difficult bit and explained about the filling mixture, even showing it to her. He gave her lots of praise throughout. My little girl was perfect because Andrew was so kind, calm and understanding with her. I was so impressed! Often a bad experience will stops people going to the dentist. I know that because of Andrew, Matilda’s experience of the dentist will not be of fear. Andrew’s assistant even found the princess stickers for her as well because she loves princesses and let her choose two. I am really grateful to both Andrew and his assistant for the thoughtful, personal touch and impressed that they can be so brilliant with very young children, putting them at ease in such a potential very scary situation.

Had a crown fitted by Andy Lyons and Megan on 3 August 2023. The technology used for preparing the crown was incredible resulting in a perfect fit. The whole process was much shorter and more comfortable than Crowns I have had before. The practice is friendly, clean and all the latest equipment to ensure a great service.

I have always had a bit of a dental phobia and as such avoided dentists as much as possible. I couldn’t ignore the problems I was having so finally booked in. I can’t thank Gethin enough for not judging me, being so patient and reassuring with me while I was having meltdowns in the chair, and for coming up with an easy to manage treatment plan to get everything sorted out for me. He was especially good when my tooth was refusing to numb for a filling, giving more injections and as much time as I needed to get through the work. I can’t reccommend this practice highly enough, the staff are all lovely! My mouth and teeth feel better than they have in years and I don’t feel as self conscious about smiling anymore. Without a doubt, the best dental practice I've ever been registered with. Reception staff are always helpful and dentists and dental nurses and kind, caring, considerate and gentle. I am quite a nervous patient and can honestly say that I would not have been able to go through with some of the recent work I've had done if it wasn't for the patience and support of the dentist/dental nurse. I felt cared for and well-informed and am very happy with the result. I honestly couldn't recommend them any more highly!

I am very scared of the dentists but the staff, particularly, the practice nurses are exceptionally reassuring and kind from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I visited this practice for the first time today after not seeing a dentist for around eight years. I was dreading the appointment as obviously I should have not left it so long and expected that I would need some well overdue treatment ! I was very impressed with Dr Rafiq and his colleague Rachael. Following an assessment xray, he explained in great detail the current condition relating to my dental health and gave me several treatment options. He was extremely thorough and put me at ease despite my discomfort. I look forward to visiting again in 3 months.
