We needed to change the layout of one side of our kitchen but were happy with the other three sides which had good quality units. Unfortunately these were no longer in production so we gave Tom the challenge of producing the new units to match the existing ones as closely as possible.

He did a brilliant job. Friends and family have also been most impressed by the results. The quality of the work and attention to detail was superb. Both Tom and Ed, his workshop manager, are perfectionists. Ed, who did the installation, clearly has a passion for his work and enjoyed the challenge. He and his assistants were incredibly hard working, considerate and a pleasure to have in our home.

Tom also has contacts he can call in for other skills as needed and at short notice if unexpected problems arise. Those involved with our project also did excellent work.

Though the price might seem a little high it was not vastly more than the good quality ready made units we had looked at but which wouldn’t have matched. The extra was well worth the cost, having the advantage of making maximum use of the available space with individually made units.

We highly recommend the company, especially for any non-standard work.

Tom and his team have just finished installing a media wall and complementary cabinets and shelving on the opposite walls. The result is stunning and has exceeded our expectations. Prior to this he designed and fitted our wardrobes and is in the process of fitting further wardrobes and various units. The attention to detail and range of materials is breathtaking and we are in awe of the workmanship which goes into making such beautiful pieces of furniture. The skills of Edward and Jason in making and fitting our units are exemplary. They plan for minimum disruption during the fitting process and work to exacting and meticulous standards. I have had the pleasure of working with Tom Maxwell on several occasions but this is the latest media unit Tom designed and built for my client. The work he did was superb and our meetings with the myself and my client were both concise and easy to understand especially for the client. You completed my vision and you made it an easy process from start to finish. I particularly liked that I was informed at every stage of the process and although I made several changes before the final sign off, nothing was too much trouble.

Ed and Jason who fitted the cabinets are meticulous, they took great care, a real credit to the company. They appreciated that I am an exacting client, but I don’t think it would have made any difference whether I am or not, their workmanship is second to none and I’m sure that they apply the same high standards in every installation.
