Really impressed with Latch. We had a number of internal doors fitted and 2 bespoke shelving units created for our books. Josh and team were super professional and worked quickly but carefully and were careful to minimise any disruption and tidied as they went along. Matt did most of the work, and all of the carpentry on my kitchen refurb. He’s a really hard worker, reliable and a genuinely nice guy, he’s also creative and had some great ideas I hadn’t thought of, which has made my kitchen even better than I hoped. Mike replaced all of our internal doors for us. He came out to check the doors and advised on the best options. After arranging an install date, Mike checked in again just to be sure we were still ok ahead of the arranged date. Him and his team arrived on time, were always polite, friendly and professional, and they tidied up beautifully after they'd finished. Michael and the team were super helpful. The project was to build a self assembly garden shed/office, but to be honest I had not anticipated how much work would be needed. Nevertheless, Michael and the team cracked on, and guided me through any snags that presented themselves - suggesting the appropriate options and working to get the project done to a great standard.

We had wanted our rather dull staircase, bannisters and under stairs cupboard changed for years, but we'd always been put off by the high prices of the 'stair renovations specialists'. I found details of SJT Carpentry and Joinery on-line and I was very impressed by their feedback and photos. Got a quote and some ideas from Sam and was pleasantly surprised by both the price and his suggestions. Now having had the work done I am really pleased with the end result, wish we'd found Sam earlier. Sam arrived on time, kept me informed of what was happening and made very sensible suggestions. Really impressed with his workmanship. Hope to use him again on another project in the near future.

Sam did a great job installing fitted floating shelves in alcoves as well as a mantel piece. He was flexible on timings and was happy to discuss what we wanted until we were happy. Only a 4 because of a miscommunication which meant the shelves ended up in a slightly different place to expected and the finish/varnish needed neatening after he'd finished. The actual woodwork was brilliant, and the whole project was a good price.

I love our new staircase. Sam has been very professional and flexible throughout the whole process. We’ve asked a different type of staircase and balustrade, so we were a bit worried about the end result. We just love it and we can totally recommend Sam for his quality skills , well done!

I worked with Green Oak Carpentry recently to photograph a few of their projects. I also visited their workshops to watch the team at work and they were all very friendly and their work looked great. Very tidy workshops too - I'm impressed! Beautiful projects and Josh in the office has been great to work with. I look forward to our next shoot! ☺️

The guys who did the work (Ian and Chris) were excellent, being very courteous, friendly and highly skilled. However, the main reason we engaged this company was because the estimator told us that one of their USPs was that all joins in the woodwork are morticed and tenoned whereas their competitors use screws and plugs. This proved to be completely untrue as the joins were all screwed and plugged, many of which are visible. We were also a little disappointed that there are visible joins in the handrails (2 joins in one length of 1.9m) with a colour disparity once oiled. Also, the fillers between the balusters aren't a snug fit being slightly higher than the edge of the rails and with gaps at the edges. This all means that the final result is a little less than perfect and not quite as promised but it does still look good .

Thoroughly pleased with installation of the glass and oak staircase. Was sceptical as to whether it would visually improve the living room and it really has changed for the better. Quote was competitive, the process and the product were smooth and excellent. Both the fitters of the wood balustrade and the glass fitters were superb, diligent and tidy workers - can highly recommend.
