The conservatory roof was in danger of collapse. Rob and Tony moved work to fit my job in. They removed the glass roof and replaced it with an insulated composite tile roof. They were 100% reliable, turning up when they said and working diligently each day. They were tidy and respected my property clearing up each day before they left. I was away for part of the job and had no qualms about leaving them a key. When they had finished, the new room and windows were all cleaned and the paths pressure washed to get rid of debris. They kept within budget and the finished job is superb!

Had my old door removed and they built a like for like with accoya wood with a couple of design changes that I asked for. They took out the out stain glass and incapsulated it into a double glaze unit. The final result was amazing. When the guys installed the door it didn’t quite fit but they came out and rectified it without any issue. Great bunch to deal with, professional, high quality work and highly recommended.

This is a fantastic course for anyone looking to get their first woodworking experience. Rather than working in a large workshop that you can never imagine in your own garden, Jake's course is in his personal workshop and it makes you feel like you could get there too one day. If you want to understand the first principles of taking a piece of wood and transforming it into something stylish and elegant, then this is for you. It is 1:1 so you can learn as fast or as slow as you like. It isn't all handtools and traditional approaches so if, like me, you want to make the most from tools and machinery then Jake will show you how to, both safely and efficiently. Jake is enthusiastic and encouraging as well as being a great person to talk to. I cannot recommend this course enough, it is fantastic and I am so glad I found it. Alex D

We needed some shelving units and cupboards putting up in our lounge, and someone had let us down just before Christmas. Jake was recommended to us, and we couldn't have been more accommodating and well skilled. We really enjoyed working with Marcus, and Sadiya and the rest of their team at Cheshire Bespoke Joinery to create our lovely new living room alcoves. From the moment we saw their work and posts on instagram, we knew that they were the right choice. They were excellent at communicating throughout the design process and were able to offer ideas and solutions to meet our requirements. Installation was excellent, all completed in a day. The quality of the design, the joinery and the choice of components is all of the highest standards. Pat has done work for me over the last 10 years and he is quite simply the only person I would trust to work on my house. The one time I did not use him (because he was busy) he had to come and sort out the mess left behind by the previous builder. Might not be the cheapest BUT you get what you pay for. Always listens to what you want, makes suggestions and is a really nice guy.

We have used Didsbury Joiners and Builders on 2 house renovations now, the most recent was a significant project that was made extra complex due to the pandemic. The team are a pleasure to deal with and have in our home, keeping things as clean and tidy as possible. Really flexible, great communication, open to ideas, good at overcoming problems, providing options and explaining things so we fully understood and could make decisions. Customer service has always been brilliant, professional and good humoured, lots of laughter whilst getting the job done! Managed all the trades and supply of materials, clearly has a great local network of people in the industry. What a beautiful door I now have!…. wanted an identical copy of my 1930s front door…..and that’s just what I got……marvellous!!! Joe has a superb team….Mike, Ben, Steve, Jack and Stuart being the guys who worked on completion and installation. Nothing was too much trouble and given that it wasn’t straightforward (given to uneven surfaces on my old but sturdy house)…..everything was readjusted and completed to a level of perfection without me having to chase up. Without doubt I’d highly recommend HERITAGE JOINERY…….skilled joinery and just as important a really lovely bunch of guys. I had to wait….but boy it was worth it!👍

We obtained Listed Building Consent to carry out fairly extensive repairs to the windows of our property. 5 Sliding sash windows, 2 dormers, a Yorkshire sash (sideways sliding) and a 2-storey 2 foot wide window in quite twisted brickwork. We got 3 quotes. The last to visit were Heritage and I was so impressed with Mike who came out to discuss the quote that I was pretty certain I would go with them before I even got their price. As it turned out they were the cheapest of the 3. We had to combine several different contractors to carry out the various works, so planned for the work to start several months ahead. They started on the very day we requested. They also suggested a decorator they had previously worked with, Stuarts Painting & Decorating, who followed straight on. We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of the work carried out by both Heritage and Stuarts.

Heritage joinery was such a fantastic company, working with them and experiencing their passion for what they do was second to none. The company specialises in restoration and replacing lost period features, and are willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy. I got all my front windows replaced with sash windows authentic to the period, and they also built a porch in keeping with the house. I have no family or friend connection with the business, so my review is solely based on being a client. Would highly recommend.
