Doug installed new sliding sash windows into our Victorian house. They were so beautifully and expertly fitted with incredible attention to detail, that I fell back in love with the house and no longer have thoughts of moving. He is 100% trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. Thank you very much Doug.

Doug has been recommended to us and what a breath of fresh air he is! He is lovely to deal with, friendly and approachable. His work is exemplary. His attention to detail is phenomenal and it is so refreshing to meet a contractor who arrives on time, who doesn't want to eat his lunch until he feels he's reached a "suitable cut off point" and who would stay late and get it right rather than rush his work and have to compromise on the finish. Doug is currently making a replica Victorian front door and frame for us which has a lot of detail and will have stained glass panels. It was good to be able to discuss different ideas and designs and we are very excited to see the finished article. He is a "craftsman" in the true sense of the word and his rates are extremely reasonable given his expertise and the quality of his work. We really cannot recommend him highly enough.

Can’t recommend this guy highly enough. He is a talented craftsman/joiner who takes pride in his work no matter how big or small. His work spans traditional and contemporary designs and each job is carried out with care and expertise.

Doug has done quite a few jobs for us over the last 30 years or so including a loft conversion, book cases, new kitchen and fitted bedroom units to name but a few. All have been done to the highest possible standard and I have no hesitation in recommending him apart from it may make it harder for us to to get him for anymore work we need doing.

Doug has created 3 bespoke kitchens at different properties over the last 10 years. Each project has been designed,fitted and finished (using traditional wooodworking skills) to an excellent high standard,at an excellent price He goes the extra mile to make sure you have what you wish for but with all his experience he brings fantastic and practical ideas.I would not hesitate to recommend him for any individual,bespoke or quirky project that requires a traditional skilled CRAFTSMEN.
