Ben and team recently designed and installed a new, bespoke kitchen for us. They did a fantastic job - the kitchen is beautiful, extremely high quality, and certainly value for money. M&S Carpentry has done an amazing job for us. From start to finish it has been a pleasure to work with them. I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was a little unusual because I wanted to hide an en-suite behind wardrobes and have the doors open inwards. I had spoken to a number of firms who had all said they couldn't or didn't want to do it as it was out of the ordinary. M&S Carpentry were great from the start, they got what I wanted to achieve and helped make that vision a reality. They advised on finishes and approach and it was a real team effort. The job was reasonably priced and they were able to meet my quite quick timetable with ease. The job was delivered on time and on budget and the quality and attention to detail is exceptional. I could not be more happy with the end product. It is exactly as I imagined and I am thrilled with it. I would not hesitate to recommend M&S Carpentry and am already thinking about what else I can get them to build for me!

Martin did a great job transforming a room in into a library by building beautiful bookshelves. He designed and built bespoke bookshelves, exactly to our brief, which are in keeping with the Georgian features of our house, while feeling modern too. He spent time getting the design exactly right including discrete lights, shelf and cupboard dimensions to fit the right amount of books and our speakers plus a ladder. He also worked hard to ensure the colour perfectly matched our walls. We love our library, as does everyone who visits. I would not hesitate to recommend Martin who has extremely high standards and provides high quality workmanship.

Martin is simply the best - even our builder says so. We did our due diligence, interviewing and talking to over a dozen joiners and from the start, Martin was open, collaborative and a partner. He genuinely cares about what you as a client want, and applied his expertise to make it the best version of your vision. We had him design and build our living room and bedroom wardrobes. He is exacting in his precision, attention to detail and skill. Detail oriented feels like an understatement. The end results are incredible.

From start to finish we had a wonderful experience working with Pete, Adrian & the team. I wanted a low wall faced on two sides with a length of oiled oak.The work undertaken by Adrian and his team was immaculate. The wood was carefully prepared and cut to provide a perfect fit. It was exactly what I wanted and the work was completed with the minimum of fuss. Even the clean up was spot on! Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes - Peter's service is very bespoke - attention to detail and problem solving - is something Peter really enjoys and was challenged by this space being uneven and shallow! I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend him. I had received quotes from the larger companies - Peter's prices are similar but the product is bespoke - I have exactly what I wanted.

Peter was brilliant. He fitted a mirrored bathroom cupboard for us in a tight space and it looks great. He was easy to contact and listened to what we were looking for throughout the process. On the fitting day he and his assistant were polite, quick and tidied everything up once they were done. Would highly recommend!

ELB’s in-demand carpentry service is certainly worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with the work they have done installing new floating shelves and a built-in laundry unit. Through each stage of the process, Peter was excellent and extremely helpful, he visited our site and perfectly understood what we were aiming for, he provided a digital design sketch for the project and made multiple revisions and suggestions until we were happy with the final design. The fit and finish was perfect, he even spray painted the cabinets in the colours we had chosen and was able to fit everything in just one day. We’re so happy with the results and will definitely be using their services again in the future.

Nigel undertook several projects for us recently - making and fitting a Victorian hardwood front door, replacing a staircase and fitting shelving in a built-in wardrobe. The finished results are excellent. Nigel is very diligent, doesn't cut corners and carries out his work to a very high standard. He is pleasant, courteous and reliable and clearly takes pride in doing a good job. His charges were also reasonable and fair. It was a pleasure having him around and we would highly recommend him.

We needed our drawers re-done in our wardrobes. It was a very bespoke project as we didn't need something built from scratch, but within an already built structure. It was wonderful working with Solid Carpentry, and the final product was beautiful! Dmitriy was attentive to all the special adjustments we wanted for our drawers and patient if we changed our minds on some details. Solid Carpentry used high-quality materials and did a great paint job. We love our drawers!!

Alzate built me a cupboard in my bathroom. They were excellent in the design process as they came for multiple planning visits, provided a great CAD design and were helpful in giving updates to the design on request. The issue was that when it came to installation, the finish did not quite match the design in that the edges weren’t flush with the wall. Whilst this wasn’t possible as the wall wasn’t straight, it wasn’t communicated to me and so I asked for it to be fixed. This lead to delays and additional expenses. Overall I am very happy with the final product, thought the service of the design process was excellent, but the service at installation was lacking due to the poor communication and it has left a sour aftertaste

We found Alzate to provide an excellent service. It’s always hard to find good builders or carpenters but Alzate were outstanding. The quote was reasonable and the payment process was straight forward. Raul and his team were very friendly and professional and completed the job to a very high standard. We were especially impressed with Rodrigo’s work. His attention to detail and lovely personality shone through. They arrived when they said they would and completed the project on time and within budget. They were very clean and tidy! We would definitely recommend Alzate to anyone and will be using them again in the near future.

Can not recommend Alzate Carpentry enough. After meeting Sharps and other local carpenters, Raul visited us and mocked up a design to replace fitted wardrobes in our flat. The design was perfect and more economical than the competition. Everything is custom made, using high quality materials and he colour matched the wardrobe with our room. Installation was quick and easy. Communication was excellent throughout. Give these guys a call - you won’t be disappointed!

Just brilliant I loved my garden room it’s lovely

Karl was one of three cabinet makers that we approached with a general project outline for an eaves storage unit in our bedroom. We found his estimate to be in line with the others; what tipped the balance was his project back catalogue, and his immediate willingness to come and visit us at home to discuss our ideas. We are very happy indeed with that decision: throughout the process, Karl and his partner JC were willing to listen carefully to our ideas, and go though numerous iterations of the preparatory CAD drawings to create a unit that was practical and distinctive, and which served our particular needs. We were expecting a baby in the same period, and Karl and JC were very sympathetic to our time concerns, and made sure that the installation process was smooth, quick and clean, and built around our tight schedule. As an amateur cabinet maker myself, I checked the quality of the craftsmanship very closely: the joints, scribing of the outer frame to the wall, hanging of the drawers in the carcass, and attachment of the oak veneer (to limit the appearance of a join) were all done very crisply. In general, we have no qualms in recommending Karl and JC as high-end practitioners in birch ply furniture, and very personable craftsmen with whom to work.

I am interior designer and often work with Karl and JC. They are great to work with. The development process isn't painful, they are very easy and accommodating always helping find a solution for awkward spaces. All projects were delivered on time, all done very neatly and with great quality. I can totally recommend their work and I am Looking forward to working with them again. Karl and JC were very easy to work with, and took great care with fitting them (there was a difficult warped ceiling to fit them around), they obviously take real pride in their work.
