A & S Motors have done two lots of work on my car over the past few years - replacing brake disks and pads, and then replacing my water pump after a breakdown. They are friendly and efficient, and their pricing is fair and transparent. Communication is very good.

Very happy with Percy’s help. He managed to find me even if the break cover company didn’t provide the correct location. He fixed my tire and charged my battery.

Their excellent Google reviews are testimony to the excellent honest work they provide. I needed a cambelt change and my normal mechanic twice let me down so I decided to go down the Google search route. Their quote was cheaper and they confirmed my model Leon Fr 1.4 wouldn't need a waterpump change as misadvised by some insistent garages. Fixed a droplink arm issue I had due to hitting a pothole and diagnosed my battery issue. Once you find a good reliable, trustworthy garage like these guys save their number. Top guys all round.

Recently took my Renault scenic for an exhaust issue ( rubbers and adjustment) the lads resolved it quickly. I would recommend this place always willing to fit you in and are very reasonable prices so give them a try. Good to see a fair and honest business doing their best.

Over the Easter break my Exhaust fell off my Citroen and I popped round Tuesday morning to see if these chaps Jeremy and Dave could help fix it. Used to go to Ken at Gills Transport but have come here since he retired. Sarah is really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. As already said you will not get ripped off here, if there's something wrong with your car they tell you if not a smile and another 12 months MOT. Also use for repairs and services, will be booking in soon for brake pad replacement soon Sarah.

Visited in Feb to MOT our old Hymermobil "Laszlo" after our long-time mechanic stopped doing MOTs this year. Sarah made us (and importantly our dog, Pete) super welcome. The team always go above and beyond, We have our MOT done and any work that needs doing with them for the past 8 years (family have been using them even longer), I always know that I'm getting the best price and not being ripped off! We have used many mechanics in the past but this was a very good service. Phoned up for a full service and got booked in the next day. Spotted a number off issues with the car such as the clutch and got me booked in again to fix them. 10/10 service kept me up to date with regular phone calls and text messages. These guys will be our main go to mechanics moving forwards. 100% recommended by us

Edit: was pleased with the turnaround time however I had a clunking noise after these guys helped me. Turns out in the process the anti Roll bar bushes got damaged as a result. Great to get you home but maybe think twice if you can wait out for a local trusted mechanic. Nevertheless I’m sure this could just be a one off, so knocked off one star Was trying to change a ball joint on my 2010 ford mondeo and with old cars it was an absolute nightmare. Called these guys up and told me to bring it down, all done and dusted within a couple of hours. Can’t thank them enough especially when other places had a week wait. They were lovely and attentive and would highly recommend if you are in a sticky situation like I was when I’m relying on my car for work also
