I took my car to Chaucer initially for an MOT and service. With other garages, I've had cause to doubt their integrity (particularly main dealers), but Chaucer were excellent and I'd completely trust them again. I then had another issue that I asked them to resolve. Because of matters outside their control, they couldn't carry out the repair. However they were extremely helpful. It was genuinely refreshing to experience this level of customer service. Thank you Chaucer!

Called in for a quote to have a service and some additional work completed in two different garages. Was emailed promptly by Chaucer's the following day where other garage never got back to me. Chaucer's did an excellent job - will most definitely be returning. It's also extremely handy having a body shop repair business on the same site so I was able to have a door hinge replaced at the same time.

I can’t recommend Chaucer enough – they always go above and beyond. Our whole family has been using these guys for years, and we can't fault their professionalism and care. Recently, my son's car suddenly lost power, so we drove straight to the garage. Even though they were clearly very busy, they managed to squeeze us in, and we had the car back within a few days – as good as new. A huge thank you to David and the team for the fantastic work. Michael was extremely helpful and competent in helping me to buy a car seat, nothing was too much trouble for him and he even rang around other stores to check their availability. He then helped me to carry the car seat out outside and also found my lost keys! He was very respectful and demonstrated exceptional customer service. It was also nice to see Hannah, who is also excellent, who helped me on my last trip to Halfords. I would thoroughly recommend this store.

I used Halfords Sevenoaks today to get replacement number plates. Reserving online was so easy and they were made immediately upon my presenting the relevant documents and fitted immediately after. Excellent service and great value. My car now looks a lot younger! A special mention to the deputy manager Michael was so friendly and professional with great conversation. It reminds you why it is just so 'nice' to go in to a store and meet people in an increasingly online world. A very pleasant interaction I'll remember today!

My partner and I have desperately been trying to buy bikes for the summer and everything has been against us. Following an order being cancelled on Monday, I popped into branch and met Hannah who has moved heaven and earth to help me. Bikes were found for us both and made them ready. Hannah even popped to another branch in her own time to collect the last one suitable for my partner.Then upon pick up the bike racks could not be fixed to either of our cars. Hannah and her colleague Michael were not going to be defeated and pulled out as many hats from the bag they could. I have vulnerabilities that means I am overwhelmed and anxious when things don't go to plan. Hannah and Micheal acknowledged that and adapted their approach to meet my needs. Just overall excellence. 5 starts is not enough to cover their ousting service. Even speaking to Gillian while they fixed everything was a comfort. The team were honest and integral than sell us a bike carrier that was not suitable for either of our cars. We have had a mare of a week, with outside life factors, and the team of Hannah and Micheal really helped me overcome some difficulties and their service for vulnerable customers who need extra care was the finest I have ever had.

Excellent service, I arrived on the off chance & spoke to Dan about the problem he put the car on the lift and diagnosed the problem almost immediately. I came in with a car that was sold to be that had serious safety problems and they were so understanding, keeping hold of the car whilst I was organising collection by the garage I bought it from and making sure I got my money back from them before it was collected. What fantastic service l received and so local. I had heard good reports but never used Antwis Engineering. l telephoned Monday afternoon not holding out much hope because l needed the car Tuesday afternoon for a long drive and knew the car was not sounding very good! The receptionist said bring the car along and they would try and have a look but no promises. To my surprise l received a call Tuesday lunchtime to say car was ready for collection. I had not used this garage before, it had been recommended. They collected my car from an mot place, took it back to their garage to fix the repair, then returned to mot place. Collected it for me and looked after my car until I returned from my travels. Over and above the call, its not often that you receive such a helpful and friendly service.
