I came across Barendale while looking for someone to have a look at our brakes. We had been to a well-known garage in Bordon who had fitted them, then two months later almost failed the MOT on brakes. This was a shock and we thought it best to get a second opinion. I called Barendale and they offered to take a look and do a test on the brakes for nothing, taking time out of their day, saving me ££. It was clear when we arrived that this garage have a wealth of knowledge and experience. I felt reassured that they would give me an honest opinion and they did! There was nothing wrong with the brakes! I can highly recommend and now they have a regular in us. Very professional, helpful and honest! Thank you!

I live in Winchester and had some electrical issues with my 15 year old Mercedes. I was recommended Harestock Garage by a friend who spoke very highly of them. James , the owner , did all the necessary repairs in a very short time and at a very reasonable price. The car has worked perfectly since and I cannot speak highly enough about this superb set up . Honest , efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

Huge thanks to the lovely guys at Harestock garage. I dropped in pretty much unannounced today with an issue on my van where one of the underside heat shields had fallen down. They got it up on the lift, took time to work out a solution for fixing it, got it back safely in place and then gave me the keys back and refused to take payment. What lovely people! 10/10

I am really happy with this garage. I had a car breakdown (broken drive shaft). The lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice. She said I can drop the car in the garage but it will be looked at only after new year as they are fully booked and very busy. I dropped the car in the garage and went back home thinking how to get to work from tomorrow. But to my surprise I received a call after an hour from the garage saying "your car is fixed and you can collect it now". I was really surprised and very happy. They were an angel to me. What great guys. Exceptional service. I broke down when my clutch failed. They firstly recommended a local recovery company who were very quick, efficient and reasonably priced. I received a phone call from the guys within a couple of hours and by the end of the day my car was ready. I asked could they service my car which they did the following morning! What amazing service. Would highly recommend these guys and will never go anywhere else.

Great experience! I was able to call and take my car in straightaway following various warning lights appearing on my dashboard. Pete put me at ease, called less than 2 hrs later, to confirm nothing to worry about. The checks only took 15 minutes so they didn’t charge me. Very honest, helpful and would 100% recommend.

I rang the garage after getting a flat tyre at a nearby petrol station, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. I took the car straight to them, and they assessed it right away. Absolutely brilliant service from Andrew Foster’s MOT Centre. I brought my car in for a check-up before a road trip, and they went above and beyond. I even asked if they could change the spark plugs, and they managed to do it during the same appointment. I’ve trusted them with my car for its MOT before, but after today, they’ve gained my full confidence. No nonsense, no upselling—just honest, straightforward work. To top it off, they washed my car for free! A perfect local business for local people. Highly recommend.

I've had an issue with an intermittent engine light (valve issue) for the last year, but wasn't showing in other garages when plugged in. Came on just before my MOT, so I thought I'd just leave it and finally get to the bottom of it. The whole team at the garage were fantastic. Identified the issue, found the part, and quoted me a very fair price for fixing and retest. Part took far longer than we expected, but they were proactive in chasing it up and keeping me updated. Very happy with the service and will happily use again.

I got recommend these guys by a friend. Took my car in because it had no give on clutch pedal. Initial diagnostics was quoted at £1100 as they needed to do the clutch and take the engine out to change a slave cylinder in the transmission. A few days later, they called me and said the clutch was actually fine and no need to change it and they were able to change the slave cylinder another way without an extra days worth of labour so took the price down to £300. They could’ve easily taken me for more as I’d already agreed to £1100 but they were very friendly, honest and open about the issues and saved me £800. 100% would recommend, brilliant service.

I've been using Ace Automotive for many many years myself and will continue to do so. They are also now most definitely my mum's preferred garage.
