Random find on Google maps but my goodness am I glad! What a beautiful shop, lots of typical farm shop fare jars upon jars of various jams and preserves as well as other things but the main draw, the sandwiches are out of this world, I had roast chicken, stuffing and gravy special and was blown away by the quality and size. I followed up with one of tbe best brownies I have ever had. We will be going back again to visit for the amazing sandwiches but also the lovely staff make it extremely welcoming

I called for some bread, and recommended the slow sour dough which was spot on. The raspberry muffins had just come out of the oven and smelt outrageous!! I bought a couple and just had one with a brew OMG!! I can't recommend this shop enough, I will be back.....very soon!

We absolutely love GGs. Bread, cheese, savouries, sweet treats, local stockist of many fabulous small brands such as The Burnt Hill Herb Co., Yorkshire Fine Cheese and Yummy Yorkshire. The team are an absolute credit, and nothing is too much. Always helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable. Thank you!

I made the mistake of thinking it actually had a sit down element to the building, but it did not. This was a destination visit quite a substantial distance covered to get there, great service from all staff . The guy seems well obsessed with his cheese. They even had a Manchester tart. But Do not do whole milk if you like whole milk in your coffee, we ended up buying the milk from the Next Door shop to add to the coffee.. One of those places where you really feel the owners have got commitment to what they’re doing .

Absolute gem of a place, we live a couple of villages away and only just tried it last week, we’ve been twice since as the produce and value for money is incredible, can’t believe we hadn’t gone in sooner - I was pleasantly surprised at all the stock too we’ll definitely be getting birthday hampers from here. Until then weekly sandwiches on gorgeous bread and the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had!
