Fantastic local chippy. Big portions, proper chips and lovely crisp batter. Not expensive either. Good service too.
First time in and had a lovely fish butty. Quick friendly service and delicious food. Generous portion for the price. Great little chippy
High standard of fair. Cooked to order so expect a wait. No chat for newcomers. It's for local people. In 2024 they still don't provide for card payments. Is this the last place in UK? It's my second-back up chippy.
Very clean chippy with friendly and welcoming staff. All food was cooked fresh and tasted brilliant. Good portion size and great tasting fish. Family of four fed for £18 with two fish & chips, two kids meals. Nice atmosphere between customers and staff! One customer brought the owner some scones as a gift, sparking a light debate on “scon” or “scone”. Does Clayton proud.
Bah eck .. rite gud fish n chips.. 😋 By the way .. I heard there was a fight here last week ... and two fish got battered 😳😳😳
