Incredible first time at Strada cafe, such a calm ambience to have some breakfast in peace, we got the french toast, omlette and beans & the strada breakfast, everything was exceptional! the flavours were unreal, can’t wait to come back! the owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming too!

Our 2nd time coming to this cafe. My girlfriend and I love it here. The food and drink is fantastic and the people are so nice. Eggs Royale and the guest coffee is my top recommendation.

First time visit to Strada and it was absolutely EPIC!. We had the Strada Breakfast and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich with Fresh Juice and Strada Latte. The main man know exactly what he's doing and is such a lovely pleasant man as is the staff. The ingredients are fresh and genuine, the cooking is perfect and the overall enjoyment is just simply beautiful. The atmosphere is homely which is a bonus. Take a trip to Strada and simply enjoy unique foods and excellent service which is something we dont see often. Highly recommend the philly cheese steak (the meat is on a different level). We ordered Strada special large breakfast, large French toast with a kids meal and a milky chai latte. Their breakfast definitely has a special touch. The sausage is very nice, a hand made taste, not the standard sausages you find in other cafes. The diced potatoes are very tasty and the eggs had some green seasoning ontop which was really tasty. I like the uniqueness of the breakfast it’s not a standard full English it’s definitely got a special touch. Got to give credit to the owner, never seen a cafe where the owner himself makes sure your food is good and comes to speak to you.

We went today for the first time and it was great! The service was very quick and efficient and a special mention to Ellie she was fab! The carvery was great the portions were huge and we loved that the sides came out separately and our son really enjoyed the kids meal again this was a big portion. We highly recommend and we will defintely be back especially as this is now our local pub! Thank you so much!

First time here. Food was lovely, reasonably priced, excellent friendly service and when I asked about vegan options for my daughter and son in law they are happy to oblige even if it is not on the menu.

AMAZED! We’re here from Melbourne visiting family and this pub is just across the road from where we’re staying. I’m pleased to say that our group of 5 were all absolutely over the moon with our experience at The Red Lion! The food was perfect and exceeded expectations, the service was fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful :) I only managed to snap a picture of my dessert (Sticky Toffee Pudding) but I guarantee you’re in for a treat and an excellent evening! (We even got toothpicks and some little chocolates with our bill! How thoughtful) 10/10 would recommend. We’ll certainly be back next time we’re here! :)

Food was delicious. Me and partner ended up here after seeing amazing comments on Facebook. We thought why not give it a try. We had a hanging bbq chicken and 10oz sirloin steak both cooked to perfection, by the way love the English onion bhaji. We had biscoff cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding to finish. Service was excellent. I real nice surprise and will visit again and highly reccomend to others

An absolute gem! Fantastic coffee and food selection with impeccable service. We visited on a Sunday afternoon for coffee and dessert but they also had Sunday roast available which looked delicious!

I visited this place recently - it was a Thursday when you could have x3 smaller plates for £18. I loved everything about the place - the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was great - the food was delicious and I am gluten free! I could have everything I wanted gluten free including the amazing chocolate dessert!! If I was local I would be a regular. I will be sure to come back when next in the area. Highly recommend!!!

Dined in on a Friday eve our first visit to The Shrub! The decor is lovely and we couldn’t fault the food either, it was delicious. As were our cocktails which were excellent value at 2 for 1 on a Friday evening. I had two small plates and a side salad, they arrived piping hot and beautifully presented. My daughter also enjoyed her large plate chicken dish and vegetables. My only gripe is that we were a little cold at times due to the terrace doors being opening regularly to the terrace.

The Shrub hosted our daughter’s graduation gathering last night, it was absolutely perfect! Such a beautiful elegant place. The food was top quality and the staff could not do enough for our party. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be regulars. Thank you all again.

Cracking real ale pub this, hardly changed over the years and has stuck to its principles of providing good quality ales at good prices, staff always friendly, sports regularly on TV, dog friendly pub with a nice sun trap of a terraced seating area outside, if your in the area this boozer is a must, keep up the good work guys.

This has been a great real ale pub for many years and still has top quality beers.

We had to wait to be seated as all the tables were in use. But once a table was free the man who showed us to our table brought an extra chair to make the 3 person table into a 4...but he did promise to move us to a larger table when one became free...which was literally minutes after we'd got seated. Once re seated we ordered at the counter. When the food came it looked amazing and when we tasted it the taste matched our first impression!! We live in Huddersfield so travelled over for my daughters birthday brunch. I would defo return after seeing the size of her pancake stack she got!! I need to try them too 😁

First visit for brunch on a busy Bank holiday. The queue was dealt with very quickly and we were seated outside within 10 mins of waiting. We ordered a full breakfast and two poached eggs on toasted sourdough. These together with a Cortado coffee and a Yorkshire tea. All very much enjoyed. Both food and service was great, friendly and welcoming. We certainly recommend.☺️

Popped in here for a Sunday brekkie, it was very busy but I can appreciate why. The staff were friendly and attentive from when we walked in, sorting us a table inside. The food was brilliant, can't fault anything I had, and the coffee is lovely!

It was random walking cafe but it turn out, out standing. Loved vibes, food and staff are lovely. They have this veg burrito it’s out of this world, you will be amazed with taste. And mozzarella tosties wow…. Highly recommend . As it’s a small place we have to wait for table for lil longer but it’s understandable , no complaints…

Amazing visit today at The Grove Inn. Sunday Roast was delicious. I had the beef and my partner had the three meats. Children had burger and chips and chicken nuggets and chips. Service was great and friendly. Beer garden is equipped with music and heat lamps 👌 highly recommend

Sisters early 60th birthday celebrations. So, 5 of us booked for a Sunday roast, but they had a lot of walk-ins and unfortunately ran out of all roast meats. So, We had a Tapas instead. Well, for a first-time try in Tapas, I was very impressed with the offerings. The food was amazing, with plenty on each of the 15 dishes we tried, and I'm really looking forward to being able to come back for the roast next time. The service from all the staff was excellent, and all the meals we cooked fresh and brought to the table in a timely manner over about a 25-minute period. Well done to everyone who made our stay very enjoyable.

The grove has recently had an amazing refurbishment and looks like a brand new pub. They have changed it for the better. They now have a great food menu. We have eaten here a couple times now, first time round we had pizzas and they were so fresh and tasty, one of the best pizzas we've had. We also had their festive menu which was also wonderful. We had turkey dinner and chocolate brownies for pudding. Such good food and amazing value for the high quality! Can confirm takeaway meals are just as good!

First time to this cafe and was pleasantly surprised with how welcoming the service was and a relaxed atmosphere. The food and cappuccino with tasty, good price and I didn’t have to wait long for it to arrive. Would highly recommend this hidden gem in Brighouse.

I've just started working in brighouse and came across this little gem. I came in Saturday morning ordered a sausage and onion sandwich and a pot of tea for 1(with 3 tea bags ) Service and quality outstanding. I felt at home.the standards of the interior of the restaurant was 1st class and the decor had a relaxing feeling.thankyou,I will most definitely be returning ☺️

I have considerable experience when it comes to eating full English breakfast 😋 and in my opinion you will not find a tastier, better value for money breakfast anywhere as good as kafe rose in brighouse.

The older gentleman who I assumed owns the place made us feel so welcome. Staff were very friendly and the food was brilliant.

Absolute Gem! I notice a few volatile reviews below mine lacking images to back up their claims, I visit average 1-2 times per week depending where we’re located. Staff are super friendly and extremely accommodating, on street parking and a short walk from the train station. Food is great with a lot of choices, something for everyone. Highly recommended.

We have had breakfast and lunch here, and both have been a lovely place to dine,meet friends, etc. The atmosphere and service are outstanding. It has become our favourite place to go to .

Great little find. Great food with a great atmosphere. Service and food were great. Free parking as well. Great little shop inside. Be careful you can spend a lot in there. All in all, it's very good. They also have a small animal farm next door and it's free.

The Food here is seriously so good. Really wish i had discovered it sooner but plan on making up for that. Some cute animals you can feed too and a great Gift Shop.

This place is awesome, we went for bottomless brunch and was expecting the cocktails to be on the tame side but No they were not. Their food 'wow' I had a burger and it was amazing, and the two girls that were serving couldn't do enough for us. The whole experience was worth a lot more than what we paid, if you're going in brighouse; then this place is an absolute must, you won't be disappointed. Girls Xmas night out and first time visiting. Atmosphere was amazing the staff were amazing and food was good too. The Harley Quinn drink was by far my favourite. Love the whole theme of villians bar. Wasn’t sure what to expect with the dirty fries Xmas dinner but wasn’t disappointed. Only one down side table was slightly too close to bar which was constantly full of people as it was main walkway to bathrooms, even had people staring at us to move from our table that we had booked. That aside it was a great nite and we will be back. ☺️

First time having bottomless brunch here and the staff were so lovely! Very attentive and the woman behind the bar made the cocktails so fast! Food came out really fast and was super yummy! Would highly recommend
