Popped in for a coffee. Coffee was made nice, and they were using Dark Woods Coffee Roast which is a popular local roaster. The only thing I wasn’t so keen on was the help your self blocks of sugar, these take so long to melt and stir into your drink. Other than that great.

Lovely little café. Had the “special” toastie which was lovely. Great service and good value.

Out Of The Woods is a lovely little independent coffee shop. It is a little more expensive than other coffee shops in the area but the flavour of the coffee more than makes up for it. (It’s also in the centre of Leeds so prices are justified.) A regular latte is £3.00 - 50p for a large I believe. I think you’re missing a trick by not having branded takeaway cups. I know this would increase cost but thought it would be worth mentioning! Thanks for an amazing coffee! A solid 5/5 star. ⭐️

This is my first visit to this establishment, and I must say it has left a remarkable impression on me. Opting for breakfast here in the morning was undoubtedly the right choice. From the very first moment, the young and attentive staff ensured a warm and welcoming experience. The time spent here, combined with the unique atmosphere, is as exceptional as the food itself. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who has yet to try the local cuisine – it is truly worth the visit.

Incredible place! I wish I had a better photo of how it arrived! Honestly one of the best English breakfasts I have ever had. It is difficult to elevate a fry, but they managed. Mushroom with lemon and thyme, homemade beans, perfect poached eggs, great coffee. Seriously impressive place. Everyone else was really happy with the food as well. Service was fast and kind.

The food is fabulous, highly recommend the Turkish eggs and also the pastries. I would suggest asking for some of the pastries to be heated like spinach & feta or the chocolate, hazelnut and pear (they won't offer but will do upon request). Coffee is great, and service is rapid meaning you can stop before your train. Booking looks advisable as always busy.

Breakfast was really nice! I had the french toast and it was delicious, the orange mascarpone made it very refreshing so it wasn't too sweet. The portion size was also huge. We also had the breakfast brioche, again very delicious but definitely recommend it with added bacon.

Top brunch spot in Leeds, great relaxed vibe, music and interesting artwork on the walls. All items on the menu are well thought out but you can still get the classics (like scrambled eggs & bacon), with different coffee beans on regular rotation. Service is always friendly even when there's a queue for a table.

We had went to Mrs Atha's for breakfast, we were visiting Leeds from Nottingham. The food was so good, when I go back to Leeds will definitely return and will recommend to friends and family. Lovely food on the menu lots to choose from. The drinks we chose english breakfast tea and it was tea leaves it was so nice such a difference to using bags. Nice quite little restaurant 👌 😀

My favourite spot for coffee and breakfast. Always of a high quality. I think it has the nicest decor compared to any other cafe in city center. Its lowly lit and relaxing. It's priced quite cheap for what it is. No frills, but friendly service which is perfect for me. This isnt America!

Stopped by @ifupnorth recently and was impressed by the menu. Tried the Bunch Club Royale—fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and a rich hollandaise, alongside the smashed avocado which had a great creamy texture. The If Bennies Classic was one of the choices I like, with well-balanced poached eggs and flavorful hollandaise. For drinks, the flat white had a nice creamy feel, the caffè americano offered a deep, smooth kick, and the mocha was a great mix of espresso and chocolate. The vibe here is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot for a chill brunch or coffee. By fishenjoylife

I came for brunch with friends, despite there being a lot of us, we managed to all get seated although not at the same table as it was already fairly busy. I had the Reuben which was the perfect brunch meal and filled me up until dinnertime. All of our meals looked really good, however I think this one is a winner! Service was really good, although drinks were slow to get to us the server was really apologetic and explained to us why.

English breakfasts are a must - those hash browns are amazing. Top quality produce, friendly servers and fabulous surroundings.

Great place for a brunch, menu had a variety and service was spot on. Staff were happy to help any way they could. Food was served quick. Got a turmeric latte as I have not seen this anywhere else and was pleasantly surprised and would definitely have it again.

Was drawn in by the very interesting menu and it didn’t disappoint. The biscoff latte was delicious. Love the decor, really relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Would highly recommend!

About 3 p.m. on a Saturday, I came here. The cafe appeared to have been active during the day, since there were a few people inside. The vibe there is pleasant and laid back. The staff is great and courteous. Paris, the barista who served me (I hope I have the correct name), was really nice. Parking is easy, there are many of places, and there are a few tables outside for smokers.

Nice atmosphere, friendly, kind staff, nice reading area with books to borrow or take for a charity donation.
