I go to a college which is on the doorstep to this wonderful little gem of a cafe I went with my tutor for a Christmas lunch and I had the festive pie (which was packed with Turkey, pigs in blankets and a bit of cranberry sauce. the pie also came with sprouts in a creamy sauce that was spiced with nutmeg very nice!

We ended up here after being turned away from a local farm shop, and thank goodness they did. It's a very unassuming place, serving great food, excellent customer service and a great ethos. Also dog friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone

Good coffee. The dining area is an average lounge sized but with 5 or 6 tables. Quite cramped. Coffee and walnut cake too sugary but the lemon meringue was just right. Pleasant service. Dog friendly.

Great ambience and Decor #sold Tasty sandwiches.. They do a lovely Caramel Ice Latte and Cappuccino. Great cake selection and spotted a meringue 😋 I had a bacon and Tomato sandwich.. it was fab!!(I'm fussy with my Bacon butties I eat one everyda!☝🏾) The staff are simply very nice, polite, happy with their work kind of people. All adds to a friendly atmosphere and satisfying experience. I'd definitely recommend. 10/10 From Me and my friend 😊

Food is always incredible. Had 2 iced vanilla lattes which were so tasty. I always feel i get massive value for money whenever i eat here. Cannot recommend hoghly enough.

Great little coffee shop but you can't see out because of the condensation on the windows though in warmer times it's fine, nice place

I've been visiting Coffeeevolution for over 20 years, since the days it was a really tiny place over the road. Over all these years it has retained its charm in terms of the fab atmosphere and amazing coffee, as well as lovely cakes and small dishes. There are also some decent beers and ciders in the fridge.

I have dropped by for amazing hot chocolate but stayed for breakfast too. I have tried the maple French toast with bacon which was divine. Much better than expect and not too sweet. It was also very filling. I have also tried an orange hot chocolate for the first time and it was also delicious. The staff are really friendly and helpful which made my time here even more enjoyable. Also for the first time, I have tried sitting downstairs which feels cozy and like a perfect spot for spending time together with friends or do some work/studying.

Visited today from out of area. Ordered a selection of 4 italian pastries, 4 cakes and 2 large coffees. Very good value at £24. Victoria sponge was amazing as was the red velvet cake. Bakewell tart equally good. Personally the coffee and walnut cake needed more icing but was very nice. And a very nice coffee which was massive rather than large!

What a lovely little café. The coffee is the best I’ve tasted, It is roasted on site & a variety of coffee beans are available to buy, therefore I went home with two bags so I can enjoy the coffee again at home. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just right. I will definitely return again very soon. Thank you to all the lovely, friendly staff. This is a family run Coffee bar and they are very passionate, which comes across to their customers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely place. Good selection of drinks and food. Staff were super nice and helpful. It is clean and well taken care of, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seats.

One of my favourite spots in Huddersfield. Arcade has nailed the art of great coffee and even better food. Everything they put out is made with care and attention to detail - the coffee and food looks and tastes incredible. Highly recommend!

Best place in Huddersfield for breakfast. Great staff and an amazing ambience. Music playing. You don’t even feel like your in Milnsbridge, you could be dining in Italy or Spain. Long waits when busy but worth a visit

Was recommended this place for some real greasy breakfast! It was my husbands bday morning and we were greeted very pleasantly. They proactively asked if we would like our food cooked in a separate pan due to dietary requirements which was lovely. The food was delicious and the chef came out with a complimentary cake slice and candle to wish my husband a happy birthday. Service from all the staff was impeccable! Very homely and friendly vibe.

A couple of friends whom I was visiting in Huddersfield took me to this cafe for breakfast. Inside is quite small and very quirky. The food and service are excellent. The owner I believe is Argentinian and a very friendly guy. He does all the cooking and is very good at it.

I came here as my car was being fixed up the road, miles from home inwas, never been in this remote area before so walked down the street and found this place. I had a breakfast whilst i sat gazing out the window at the passing cars not knowing what to do with myself and the time. I explained I was waiting for my car which was in a garage up the road and was at a complete lost lose end in a new place. The owner was very very nice, he came up to me and told me free tea refills with a breakfast order while I sat and waited killing time. Very polite and friendly and it made me feel like comfortable. 5 stars and thank you for being so friendly to a complete stranger.

After visiting this place over the years, there is much that it has to be said about this place. Darkwoods possibly the leading coffee roaster of all england. The knowledge and passion for coffee would be overwhelming and too precise. Flavours, denominations, and the general ambience of the place are unmeasurable. If you are planning to open a coffee shop or you are looking to uplevel your coffee career, you must give this place a call. Otherwise, you are missing out. Dark Woods don't currently have a permanent coffee shop. Occasionally they set up a pop up café at their roasting premises. It's very popular, the staff are very friendly and efficient, the cakes are tasty and the coffee is delicious. Can't wait for the next pop up.

These guys know their coffee! I'm no expert and just a guy with a coffee grinder, but every cup is just lovely. Thanks to these guys I am no longer happy with the rare bag of beans from tesco. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Im hooked. Absolutely love the coffee from this place! ☕👍🙌

Lovely café we have been twice now since moving to the area for breakfast. I've had the following breakfast, and my fiancée has had the vegetarian breakfast, which she loves the veg sausages 😋 . Service is excellent staff very friendly and the service is super quick and it's lovely and clean. It's really worth a visit, highly recommended.

Great food and good service. Coffee was quite good on my recent visit, but on my previous one (a couple of months ago) was tasting like an instant. It is a dog friendly cafe but the tables are rather close to each other so please mind this if your pet is nervous. Exposed beams and large windows facing east (-ish), with few tables right next to it so you can catch the morning sunshine. USB charging points in power outlets for convenience. Directly opposite is car parking with about 20 spaces (at least one for disabled and some charging points as well). There's also plenty of space along Lidget Street.

Hi, Lovely coffee, only negative is that you have to spend £5 when paying by card. This would put me off returning, as I don't carry cash, and I don't always want to eat.

Great farm shop with foods from the farm and produce sourced locally. I particularly like the Cafe Food, English breakfast is just what you need to start the day. It has a butchery as well. Quality items, fresh eggs and much much more

With good food and nice staff, what is there not to like! Worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood but can get busy at peak times. Also has a decent farm shop next-door.
