We've been here twice now for lunch ( both times we had the hot pork roll , chips and gravy ), and both times, the food (huge portions and extremely delicious) , the staff , and the service here have been amazing. We'll definitely be back when in the area again.

Not only was she attentive and friendly, but she also took the time to share recommendations for local sights, including tips on filming locations from Last of the Summer Wine. Her passion for the area was infectious, and it added such a personal touch to our experience. As if that wasn't enough, my father was celebrating his birthday, and Katie surprised him with a cake and a candle—such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that truly made the day feel special. The Wrinkled Stocking Tea Room is more than just a café; it’s a place where good food and outstanding service come together to create a memorable experience. Whether you're a local or visiting the area, this delightful tea room is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place, full of last of the summer wine pictures and ornaments. The staff are very nice. The breakfast I had was great, I went for the big batty special.

I visited today and had the lemon drizzle cake and coffee which was delicious. I was served straight away and the lady was really nice and polite. She got me a table straight away and brought my cake and coffee over to me. I love the pictures of last of the summer wine are on the walls of the tearoom, it really does add character to the name of the tea room itself. I would definitely recommend this place and I would like to come again, if I'm in Holmfirth again in the near future.

Popped in for breakfast yesterday on our way home from parkrun in Huddersfield. Excellent food and service. Really nice touch giving our young daughter some crayons to keep her entertained. Many thanks!

Popped in for a coffee and some lunch as they have just opened in my partners village. The food was lovely and the staff were nice and welcoming even though it was very busy.

Only popped in for one drink. The cocktails the Margarita and the Mojito were both superb, table service aswell and at 2 for £14 good value.

Had a couple of drinks, including well made cocktails and a selection of bar bites. Food was amazing, focaccia and beef drip butter was a standout for us. Service and atmosphere were excellent. Highly recommend a visit.

Brilliant spot to eat. I have been here a couple times recently after going for a walk. First of all the staff are lovely and welcoming. The variety of food is great and i ended up choosing off the specials. I had a Korean pork belly and beef burger which was 10/10, can’t recommend highly enough. I’ve also been before and had the breakfast skillet which is also a great fry up. All the food is well priced and good portions. Thanks

Very much enjoy a lunchtime visit to Nom. It ticks all the boxes. Excellent menu & food, outstanding friendly service, relaxed atmosphere & usually. . . .rather cool music selection playing. Definitely recommend a visit if in the area.

Had a lovely brunch here with my wife and our friend. Fantastic welcome from the attentive and friendly staff. Menu is broad but not overwhelming, with options for all tastes. Coffee is high quality and made for those who appreciate a very good cup. Food was made by people who care about flavour and pesentation, and you can see and taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The service was quick and easy, and felt tended to, but not pressured. Atmosphere is lovely, with super chill music and pleasant decoration. Overall; clean, tasty, sensible prices and lovely people. Will 100% go back.

LOVE IT my new all-time fav Fancy a good coffee surrounded by art and plants? WHICH YOU CAN BUY? yes, yes you do. The girls working the day I went were so lovely and I stayed probably an hour, browsing their HUGE selection of items from different crafts for sale and the back has items too to see. Definitely worth the visit! You won’t regret it.

The coffee flavour was inconsistent between large latte (perfect, strong and aromatic) and regular latte (milky). The regular one was drinkable just not fab. Quite a few cakes on display. Nice atmosphere and a large assortment of crafty/artistic items to get inspiration from or buy. Entrance is from the main street, free customer parking is at the rear and cafe is dog friendly inside. Nice service. Will come again.

Lovely food. Somewhere that bakes cakes and scones that are home-made, so not overly sweet. Unlike the ultra-processed, uniformly pretty but deadly ones you get in most coffee shops. Selection of savoury, hot food that is healthy enough to be guilt-free but not that healthy you don't actually want to eat it. A real balancing act. Great customer service too. Sells locally made gifts so helps keep money in the community. Parking behind the mill.

Feta cheese and hot honey French toast was new to us and we both loved it! Average coffee, not amazing not bad. Friendly staff, quick service.

We went for the first time today but it wont be the last. Food and service were excellent and to top it all my husband left his reading glasses. Without hesitation they said they would post them to us without charge for postage! That sums up the quality of service from this very busy little cafe. Top marks and thank you for everything. X

Hidden away beside a small river in the middle of Holmfirth sits a jewel known only to the locals and a few passers by. Holme Coffee House is a little sanctuary from the chill after your walk with your canine friend. The friendly service, the soft lighting and the good music are the first things that welcome you, but the great coffee and amazing food will make you come back. Freshly cooked sausage and egg on a soft warm ciabatta with a small pot of brown sauce, I was even given a separate sausage for Trixie, nicely chopped up for her convenience. If you ever find yourself in Holmfirth, give them a visit and show them some love

Beautiful little coffee shop in a superb Yorkshire village. Quality of coffee is absolutely first class as is the range of cakes. Highly highly recommended however table space is limited

My husband and I have been coming to Wired Coffee and Cake since before we moved to the village, and it’s always a delight. We’re greeted with a warm welcome every time, the coffee is consistently spot on and made with care, the food is fantastic, and the cakes are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

What a find, picturesque, and overall great location for a lovely cafe, friendly staff too

While out on a walk we came across this cafe by the canal, and what a lovely place! It was great from the minute we arrived, greeted by the staff with a smile, great coffee, ordered a fried egg and mushrooms in a brown teacake with brown sauce and it did not disappoint at all, devoured it completely and savoured every bite, highly recommended 👏🏽🫶🏽

We called over to “Slawit” and as we walked along the canal spotted on the other side a vibrant lively cafe called Northern Sole. We were curious to see what “street food” offerings were available. We chose a “Rude boy” and a Mac and cheese with Chorizo- WOW - great tasting food and very reasonably priced. We had the option to dine inside or outside as they are very dog friendly. Luke and the team were attentive to all our needs and Roxy’s too, we can only give them a five star review for a perfect visit!

Called in on the off chance, was lucky they had space for us. Quite a busy little spot. Nice selection of ales, food was amazing. Well presented and really tasty. Staff really nice and friendly also.

Great cafe, so much better than expected for a small off road option. Boutique vibe with very friendly staff. We arrived on Sunday at lunch time without a booking and were told they were fully booked out, luckily as we had travelled far to get there the staff were able to free up a table for us. The food was great, good price & freshly made. Lots of parking and dog friendly.

Such a beautiful restaurant and we were put in the gorgeous pod that had the best view! Food was a 100/10 and we definitely be back soon x

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us for my grandma's birthday lunch. We hired a VIP pod which they had added some lovely decoration to. There was also a dress up box for some fun, it was really toasty despite the weather outside and there was music playing. The staff were so friendly, and so attentive, and it was such a beautiful place to eat- the food was delicious too! Most of us were vegetarian and there was a decent range of options that we were all happy with, having checked out the menu online. It was the perfect meeting point between myself and the rest of my family, we will absolutely be going back! I might even bring my dog along next time ☺️

£20 for lge latte and dirty chai latte, carrot cake and cinnamon bun!! There was nothing on the menu or the board about charging 60p for a large ( frankly this was more a small cup), plus nothing also stated that there is a charge for oat milk!!

Delicious flat white and very friendly staff. I think it’s the best coffee you can find in Holmfirth. I have also tried the cakes which are very good. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Called here for breakfast and the place was very busy, with seating inside and out. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. I had cheese on toasted sourdough, which was fine. I would have preferred regular bread a sourdough gets quite hard when it's toasted but otherwise it was good.

Visited for the first time yesterday and will definitely be going back. It's kind of a quirky place set in what looks like an old mill. The wallpaper and theme is fab, the staff are lovely and the food is gorgeous, all homemade, including their own baked beans. Definitely recommend.

We popped in today for a light bite and wasn't disappointed. We had a tuna, onion and cheese melt, Burger and chips, drinks and a dessert to share. The place is really inviting, although it was raining outside the place is so well lit it felt sunny and warm. It soon filled up so I would recommend booking in advance, we will definitely be back, in fact I've booked for one of their special events, a Thai evening meal!! I am sure it will be amazing

Not very busy. Mine was nice but my husband's wasn't hot enough. After waiting an hour for it he didn't want to risk sending it back and said it tasted lovely, just cold. Cake was lovely.

Had lunch with a friend and it was my first visit. EXCELLENT! First class. Lovely staff, super food. Loved it.
