Great pub with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere whether enjoying sport on one of the many TV's, playing darts, having a game of pool or sitting in the quieter area having one of the delicious meals available! Lovely outside area with lots of seating and ambient lighting with plenty of parking including dedicated disabled parking spaces. Also, some live music 🎶 on occasion which has been a great night! Would highly recommend!
Longtime since i have been been to the Royal Oak, staff were very helpful and very cheerful, kind 😁 and present. Table's were clean and tidy, so was the floor. Also the 🍺🍻 Beer 🍺🍻 Garden 🏡 has plenty of benches and tables outside with lights for the evening 🌆. They have a toilet's , Ample carpark space at the back of the pub, with a few disabled parking 🅿️ spaces. Meal we had was perfect, so was the pudding 🍮 we had. A very happy friendly pub, that i would certainly go back to for another visit. They also have sky sports where people can watch their beloved sporting activities. Popped in August 2024. No lunch available on a Saturday lunchtime. Only evening! Had a drink instead. Lovely pub, warm friendly service.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND ***** Quite easily the best pub meal I’ve had in a very long time! £32 fed a family of 5. My steak was cooked to perfection, the whole meal was amazing especially the chip shop curry sauce. The staff are lovely and has a great family atmosphere. Will be returning as soon as we can.
Me and my family had an amazing experience at the royal oak. They have great menus that offer pub classics, Christmas specials etc as well as the best variety of meals that accommodate to dietary requirements. All of the food and drinks available were also very budget friendly. The quality service provided by the lovely Leanne made our night even more special. We will definitely be returning here again very soon.
