Had an absolute blast at Food and Board this afternoon/evening, it was the perfect place to hangout with our friends who were visiting. The staff were polite and friendly, and were happy to provide tips on the games or suggestions of ones we might enjoy. I'm not sure how the average time spent there is only 2 hours because there is such an amazing library of games that we easily spent 5 hours there! My only criticism would be that the chairs could use some cushions as they got a little uncomfortable (possibly because we were there for so long...) 10/10 will definitely be back!
Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. The food is awesome 👌 good value and portion sizes and options for people with dietary requirements. Frequently had lunches and dinners here. Amazing board game collection with help on hand to understand the rules. Really clean. Great date night with a cheeky glass of wine, day out with kids from as young as 3 or place to make friends it's really for everything.
Really lovely little local find. The owners are friendly and knowledgable about the games they have. The cakes are great and the milkshakes are a favourite in our family. We are so pleased to have found this place and are regularly enjoying quality family time together here.
Amazing place! The hot chocolate I had was benchmark, a very large selection of games to choose from. The staff were lovely and helpful and the atmosphere of the cafe was great. Warm and inviting, a fun way to spend a few hours and really well priced. I would recommend it to all my friends! We need more places like this!
Always a great time when my partner and I attend Food and Board. We have been many times and the food is amazing! Rob, Sarah and the team are very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the boardgames on offer. My partner has a dairy allergy and they always cater for that. It is the best burger she has had in years so we always end up coming back! If you love good food and board games - I highly recommend!!
