We visited The Chilworth Arms following their recent refurbishment and the entire experience was brilliant. The service was great and everyone was so friendly - special shout out to Daisy who served us! The food and drinks menus are extensive - there’s even a specials menu that gets updated regularly - and everything we tried was delicious. The pub really looks beautiful and the outdoor spaces will be great over the summer, but equally there’s plenty of heaters so it’s nice on chilly evenings too.
Myself and three friends went today for there soft launch. For the first day the new look and kitchen re-open the experience was great! Four of us went and starters and mains took a little over one hour. Food was lovely, well presented and the portions were huge. Manager James was lovely and kept us well informed about the kitchen being a little slow and apologised that tables had not turned quick enough so we were sat in bar, which was lovely decorated and cosy next to the warm fire which provided plenty of space to accommodate wheelchair. Only disappointing thing is there is no direct access from rear of pub to garden for wheelchair, which is a shame they did not ramp the rear during refit and there is no ramp to get into garden room apart from that there is good access in the whole bar and restaurant.
Had an absolutely incredible time experiencing the refurb at the Chilworth Arms. The food was delicious, there’s a great selection of wine and cocktails, and the decor is beautiful. Rose made our experience - she was kind, knowledgeable, friendly and overall a great laugh. We can’t wait to come back!
I have been asked to share a review after the reopening of Chilworth Arms. I am very impressed with the new decor, it looks great inside with a modern and cozy look. We sat next to the fireplace and it feels like home! The outside area is beautiful, plenty of space, very pleasant atmosphere. The food was incredibly tasty, from starter to desert, well cooked and seasoned! We had a taste of a variety of wines and Noah, our waiter, was very knowledgeable about it helping us to choose the perfect wine to go with our meal. Would definitely recommend it!
I attended the opening night here with a friend and we were not disappointed. The staff were attentive, the new decor was stunning and you can tell that the food is of high quality. I can see this becoming a popular new spot.
